First thing that struck me being from Birmingham is that this pub is not in Moseley at all but rather in Digbeth - bit of a difference as Moseley is (in part) a wonderful quaint little British village full of charm and character; whereas Digbeth is an industrial centre devoid of any natural beauty whatsoever. So that needs to be said I feel. As for the place itself it was fine Staff are very helpful and always on hand, could not ask more of them they simply couldn't be more helpful. Good luck getting any rest between the hours of 7-11pm though as the pubs lounge backs on to the rooms and the noise carries like nothing else, feels like the locals are in your room so no chance of any rest until the pubs cleared. Food was reasonably priced and very very tasty, enjoyed my meal very much. Drinks were also very affordable considering how close to the city centre we are. All in all a great little stop off if you don't have any high expectations, nothing luxurious or fancy just a good honest Irish pub where you can get your head down and pass through unnoticed.

Pub itself was great. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Didn't have breakfast so can't Comment. The room was ok, bed not very comfortable. Our room was facing out on the front road it was VERY noisey both the nights we stayed. People very loud and throwing around canisters by the sound of it. Also on Saturday night there was a very loud alarm going of from 1am for quite a period of time - didn't sleep much after that. Perhaps next time if we came back would ask for a room at the back of the property.

Never been in a place so noisy in my life had no sleep at all music blasting till at 10-30 am to ask to be turned down

Good value for a solo traveler. Friendly staff. Rooms nice enough. Lots of noise between rooms and the pub. Didn't bother me, but light sleepers might struggle.

Staff friendly, just needs updating. Very thin mattress, no mattress cover, noisy bar til the early hours Old carpet, the toilet was clean, shower could have done with a bleach, we didn’t have breakfast, very thin walls, squeaky floor boards

Was not given code to reenter the building after the front door was closed. Staff member on duty was rude and condescending. Toilet needed mopping and room was very noisy from TV in adjoining room and people walking in the room above.

Beds very un comfy springs popping out of the mattresses worse sleep ever woke with pains all over my body would not recommend this stay 😫

Room was not particularly clean - dirt and detritus on the floor, some black mould on the ceiling, general grime in the bathroom. One of the bed frames had partially collapsed as well. But for the price, I wouldn't complain too much. It was fine for a single night stay

Staff absolutely lovely & very helpful. Evening meal very tasty & good value for money. Room very clean. Unfortunately there was an awful smell in the bathroom, which was there throughout our stay. Everything was very clean though!

El personal es genial, muy amable y colaborador. El hotel aunque parece alejado esta bien comunicado y no esta tan lejos del centro, se necesita transporte pero no hay problema. No le doy mas estrellas porque realmente el sitio es de paso, es correcto y limpio, pero es viejito y causa mal efecto. Para pasar un par de noches no esta mal por el precio

Friendly staff and excellent hospitality. Lovely room and breakfast, even supplied me with complimentary marmalade, when requested. We will definitely return!

Love this place

Everything was great!

The bathroom and bedroom both felt unclean; the general feel was that we didn't want to put things on the floor or step on the wet bathroom floor, and there was a bit of 'gunk' hanging off the cold tap. The shower was also leaking. A minor gripe but the TV wasn't a smart one so we couldn't connect to YouTube or Netflix. In general, it didn't feel very homely, just a very basic and not very clean room.
