昔ながらのスタイルのB&Bという感じで、建物は古そうでしたが綺麗で、スタッフもフレンドリーだしいい感じのホテルです。部屋は狭かったですが、風呂の湯もしっかりでたし、バスタブも大きめでいいです。部屋は海側ではなかったのですが、朝食会場からは海が見渡せてよかったです。雨の予報だったけど、晴れてきたので、バスツアーでセブンシスターズを見にゆきました。駅からスーツケースを引きずって行ったのはちょっときつかったけど、よく調べたらバスで行けたので、帰りはバスにしました。

Adri was the best host I’ve had, checking in and being attentive and friendly. The breakfast was top notch for a bed and breakfast. It felt like staying with friends but having enough privacy as a hotel. I would stay here again and again.

Great place. Friendly staff

Have stayed in 4 hotels and B&B’s in Eastbourne and this is by far and away the best one I’ve stayed in. Victorian features, stain glass windows combined with a modern style. Breakfast choices were eggcelent with proper sausages and bacon, the “house” scrambled eggs was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bonus as that area of Eastbourne can be tricky to find spaces to park at night. Would definitely stay at The New England again.

What a beautiful bed and breakfast ! The decor is a lovely beech vibe and bedrooms are lovely and clean we had a room With a balcony with sea view was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view ! The owner and staff where wonderful very helpful before the stay and during. Lovely cooked breakfast would highly recommend. Great location the glass house is lovely for drinks just over the road and short walk into town. We walked up to the Beechy head pub up on the cliffs about an hour and 15 min walk along the seafront absolutely stunning. Will definitely stay again. Thanks so much

Great location, great management , quiet, quaint place !

The New England was a lovely hotel, close to local amenities. The hotel was so beautiful with a cosy lounge which was decorated with lovely decor and furniture. The superior room we had was excellent in every way. The balcony had a lovely sea view. Good supply of tea's coffee etc. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. The host Audrey was a lovely lady who greeted us when we arrived. Audrey showed us to our room, and even brought us tea. Audrey was so friendly and proffessional. Breakfasts were amazing, using the best ingredients. Cooked to order. Overall are stay was the best. If we could move this amazing hotel to anywhere we wished to stay would be great. Very friendly staff. Bedroom and bathroom clean and comfortable. Breakfast choice very good and well cooked. Walking distance from town, pier and promenade.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this Hotel. We were greeted and looked after by a very friendly and caring host and staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good menu. We had room 3 with a big balcony overlooking the promenade with sunshine from early morning to late afternoon. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

The owner and staff members go out of their way to make sure that all guests feel welcome and cared for. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and been looked after (it's part of a package); but here it feels that it's on a more personal level (not because they have to). Well done to all at The New England.

Surprised the bed wasn’t made up or the bathroom cleaned. Morning breakfast made chef aware I didn’t like runny eggs and to ensure the egg yoke was hard on all of the breakfasts the egg yokes were runny I therefore couldn’t eat them that was disappointing. However everything else was to the highest of standards nice staff

We had such a lovely stay. A warm welcome from friendly staff, a beautiful two room suite that was comfortable and had everything we needed for our family and a delicious home cooked breakfast in the sunny breakfast room over-looking the seafront.

Excellent sea view room with balcony ,good full english ,friendly 🙂
