My tv would not allow me to watch England v Croatia game. Poor signal during stay but Wednesday packed in. Very annoying

Nice room (101) but next to door to reception so a little noisy. Convenient for train station and competitively priced- Despite believing my booking included breakfast this was not the case according to the Hotel. Please note that Breakfast can only be taken in the room - this was not make clear in advert as impression I had was that in room was an alternative to restaurant .

Gute Lage, nettes Personal, gute Ausstattung

I booked this hotel as it was advertised with restaurant and room service, but the restaurant was under refurbishment so neither of these were available (I was not told in advance). It also meant that I was woken up very early on Sunday by noisy workmen. I went as a treat to get some R&R time, but it was noisier than being home with the kids, and without the restaurant, it meant that instead of a nice easy meal, I had to head out to find something. I booked a Superior Pearl Executive Suite, expecting it to be modern like the photos, but the room was very tired and dated. One of the curtains didn't close fully, one bedside lamp didn't work, the carpet was thin and damaged, the remote for the heating/AC didn't appear to do anything, the old sash windows let in a draught and gave no insulation to the noise outside, the mattress dipped on one side, and there was an incredibly loud constant humming noise (possibly from the adjoining room's AC) that was unfortunately loudest around the bed area. I was looking forward to a peaceful lie-in, I had the room booked until 11:00 but checked out at 8:15 because it was just so loud. The young man at check-in was very friendly and welcoming, there is free parking, and it's only a short walk into town. Maybe I got a room that hasn't been refurbished yet (although I did pick the Superior option) and if I'd known about the restaurant situation I would not have gone. No food service AND noisy construction does not equal a relaxing stay.

The room was very good and had recently been modernised.

Overall everything was great, cleanness was spotless, very welcoming staff.

The Polish man (Bartosh?) on the front desk was a great face for the hotel and very helpful and friendly. A nice basic hotel with the breakfast delivered to the room brilliant. Very handy for a walk into town and decent parking

Room very clean bed comfortable . Plenty of space for parking ideally situated for town centre . Will def use again when travel down from the north

Me and my husband stayed therefrom 19th to 20th. The staff who checked in was a lady. The way she treated us was not appropriate. I already booked by the application and she ask for my card details, which includes everything from complete card number, expiry date and CVV. She said she want to confirm that the same person is checked in. I told her thats why i gave the ID and she already photocopied it. Still she asked for my card details and said if I dont provide it she cant give us the booked room. I felt like why? She said everyone gave card details and she showed us others card details also in a white paper. I felt it’s completely illegal that its not safe to show others there card details . She said its their rule. We said to show the rule . She didnt say anything about that. At last i gave last four digits of my card details to get the room. She said, the security will also check something like that which i dont understand. The way she speaks feel completely disrespectful. She said no smoking in room. I said we both dont smoke. Then she said everyone says like that but end up in smoking in room. I dont feel its not an appropriate customer service they Provided. Except her everyone was so good.good service.

Great night, excellent staff

Strange room with small door and steps. The pitched roof impeeds your head room. The kettle lead was fixed to the kettle, get an extension lead,,,,,had to crawl to the socket to plug ot in, then crawl to get it out again. Well at least it was exciting.

There is a good amount of on-site parking which feels secure and the hotel is a short walk from the City Centre. The reception area (pictured) is quite small so you'll need to lounge elsewhere. Not sure why the reception insisted on my photographic ID upon checking in.

Nice modern and clean with good parking maybe could do with a carpet in main corridor to keep noise down during the night but over all really nice stay.

The room was on the top floor and only had low half doors to enter and into the bathroom. Would not suit anyone larger or with mobility issues. There was a horrible smell emanating for the bathroom. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This isn't 5* but nor are the prices. Efficient and helpful owners/staff. Close to city center. Easy, free parking. Limited choice breakfast in bed. Served on time. We would use it again and have already recommended it to friends. Goid value for money.

It was just okay. The area was very rough though

Restaurant was being refurbished so our breakfast as pre ordered and brought to our bedroom each morning. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but slightly ' tired 'with stains on carpet. We were aware of pigeons roosting just above our bedroom, which had a distinctive and noisy 'coo coo' sound. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Very friendly and polite
