The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay. I stay in many hotels every year for work and if all the hotels I stay in were like this one it would make my travelling for work much more enjoyable.

Perfectly cooked breakfast. Had the Mackerel and scrambled egg. Exceeded expectation. I would go their just to have this !

Very good stay in a lovely pub and hotel. Diner was very good, most of all the starters. Breakfast was okay, could have been better with fresh pastries for example and options for cappuccino or latte. Room was very spacious and well decorated. The only down side was that it was a bath only with no curtains and therefore water ended up everywhere. Nice and helpful staff

The room was spacious and very clean. Very nice touch with a bottle of sparkling and still water each side of the bed. Breakfast was substantial. Getting to the rooms with a very tight turn at the top was challenging but the staff offered help both with the luggage when we arrived and when we left. Staff were brilliant Would definitely stay again as it was such good value for money

Fantastic stay at The Ship Inn, staff were very friendly and welcoming, great knowledge of surrounding area, Tasty excellent quality food and could not fault the room. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area

Very welcoming, lovely atmosphere, we had a lovely roomy room with en-suite and had a varied menu for breakfast, would highly recommend

Service and room overall was good. However the toilet seat in our room was broken and it was very hot making it difficult to sleep which was a shame as the bed was so comfy! A fan in the room would have made a big difference. Breakfast was fabulous. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

This is such a wonderfully old and beautiful pub, with restaurant and great rooms. The few rooms they have are all named so you know which room you will be getting when you book. We had the Gold Room and it was so lovely! A lady behind the bar greeted us and showed us to our room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant menu looked amazing but we.had promised ourselves fish and chips on the beach. The beach was a few minutes walk from the The Ship Inn so it was a perfect evening. In the morning, when we came down to breakfast, we were greeted by the chef who took our cooked breakfast order. He was very chatty and helpful. We definitely intend to visit again!

Comfortable stay .nice staff

We were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was great. Accomodation was well planned and clean and tidy. Parking was really easy and suitable. Very good location close to beach giving plenty of opportunity to have walks. Safe area.
