We had a 2 day stay ,the 1st night we stayed in a very tied ground floor room overlooking the car park which we were not happy about , I saw Sarah at reception who was so accommodating and upgraded us to an amazing room on the 2nd floor which made our stay so much more comfortable with fantastic views of the gardens and golf corse !! we were so chuffed and would definitely come back to the hotel as the staff were lovely and the food was good..hands up to Sarah who made our stay perfect!! 5* for the second night

Misleading hotel booking We were sent to another place a km away instead of in the main building. The main building looks royal in the photos. This one was a bland building with a terrible approach road, made of apartments, where we had to lug our luggage up a flight of stairs. There was no one to be seen from the hotel at this place. Not one soul. We had to drive to the main building for breakfast. And we paid handsomely for what we thought was the privilege of staying in a regal hotel. This should be listed as a separate property and not as the Welcombe. This is not ethical.

We got lost on the way to the hotel as we took the second turn in however after asking a few staff around we got there. The spa was nice though we had to take our towels from the room as there were issues with delivery to the spa. The foot massage pools were not working but the rejuvenating pool outside was a nice surprise. The steam room and sauna are on the side of women’s changing rooms and that felt a bit uncomfortable as anyone could walk into the women’s changing rooms with the door open at all times. Also I could not keep an eye on my 10 years old son from there so I was not able to use it. The breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice. The grounds are nice

Amazing property with room furnished in Jacobean style , beautiful grounds and only 30 min walk into the centre of Stratford through a lovely hiking path. The spa was very clean with 2 beautiful jacuzzis and the service at dinner and breakfast was impeccable! Great English breakfast also with fruits , yogurt and cereals options . I cannot recommend it enough and already planning my next trip here with friends . Thank you all for the beautiful stay .

Amazing property with room furnished in Jacobean style , beautiful grounds and only 30 min walk into the centre of Stratford through a lovely hiking path. The spa was very clean with 2 beautiful jacuzzis and the service at dinner and breakfast was impeccable! Great English breakfast also with fruits , yogurt and cereals options . I cannot recommend it enough and already planning my next trip here with friends . Thank you all for the beautiful stay .

Dead insects on windowsill. Room stifling hot and unable to open the window as it was broken and had a sticker do not use.
