Had such an amazing stay! The garden view room was beautifully decorated and the bed was honestly one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The spa had everything you could need, and the outdoor jacuzzis were perfect—especially with drinks served right to you from the menu. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. I’ll definitely be booking again soon!

観光のため１泊滞在しました。地下鉄を降りてすぐの立地でアクセスが良く、歩いて回れる範囲に観光スポットが多数ありました。ビートルズで有名なキャバンクラブやマリーンミュージアム、Tate美術館等どこも徒歩圏内で回れました。また、ホテルにはプールもあり、観光で疲れた体をリフレッシュすることができました。お部屋は広く、バスタブも大きく旅の疲れを癒せました。また、我々が行った時は競馬の重賞レースのあった時期で、きれいなドレス姿の女性が多数いらして、お部屋もほぼ満室状態でしたが、グラスシャンパンのサービスがあったり、従業員のみなさんの対応は常に笑顔で機敏でした。お部屋にもわざわざ不都合はないかと確認の連絡をくれたりしました。リバプールに行った先にはまた泊まりたいと思うホテルでした。

The place is not as picturesque as shown. Staff grumpy unhelpful towards us and found they were extremely helpful towards others in front of us at check-in and at the spa reception. Our concerns just did not matter. Not a fan of using the race card unfortunately it’s the only explanation in this case. Sad

Booked one night as a last minute get away not having been here before. All I can say is we can't wait to return. It's only 15 minutes away from where we live so can't believe we've never thought to stay there before. The standard double room was great. Lovely big bed which was very comfortable and the rest of the room facilities were good. Booked the room with spa access which was amazing. We love thermal suites and this one was one of the better ones we have visited with a very ornate pool.
Later on we dined in the restaurant both having filet steak which was cooked perfectly. Starters and deserts very tasty.
We both enjoyed a really good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, followed by excellent breakfast.
All on all, one night just wasn't enough and we will have to look at coming back very soon.

Bathroom very clean
Carpets were a bit worn
And the lighting wasn’t great
No full length mirror
We were attending a wedding and needed the better light to get ready
Breakfast was far to expense £23.50 per person
Many of the guest had that included with the room our stay didn’t again disappointed
Not to be offer this
We had a wonderful time at the wedding
we didn’t use the spar but had lunch in the brasserie
The staff we very friendly but a bit haphazard
We ordered our food my meal was incorrect and by the time they had redone it my partner had finished his
Also lots of diners were in swimsuits and robes
Not very nice to be honest

Customer service is hit and miss.
The main dining area is nice but again the food quality is hit and miss the steak was a cheap cut of meat very chewy but the flavour was good.
I ordered a brownie which came almost frozen.
The spa is a nice facility but they definitely need to have staff management on busier days.
The rooms are okay but terrible lumpy pillows and a little dated.
I would probably use the facilities if i lived local but not go out of my way to visit Thornton hall it is very basic i would give 3.5 Stars

The hotel is nice, felt clean, if slightly dated. The staff are a credit and very friendly and attentive. The spa is pretty good. The only negative, is whilst reasonably priced for a spa hotel, aside from bottles of water in the rooms, everything is an extra. Robes, slippers or rather sandals all have to be paid for, no little gifts in rooms etc. just feels like they want to sell everything else and it’s not cheap for any extras. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice, parking excellent, room was comfortable.

For me personally staying on my own i am well looked after and it is nice when staff recognise you.
Nothing is too much trouble.
I like to come twice a year to relax.

I booked the hotel for the pool. Good size to do laps with but you have to get there early as it gets full as the morning goes.
Only stayed the one night but we had a bottle of wine free which was a nice touch. Nice place, not large but fairly enough grounds. No airconditioning in our room but balcony door and window can be opened. Fairly clean room except for the electric fan which probably havent been cleaned for months with the amount of dirts and dust it has accumulated. It was a warm night and we had doubts using it.
Attentive, respectful staff. Good breakfast selection and enough parking spaces. You can see cows grazing in the fields nearby.
Will probably come back again but I keep remembering the dirty fan…we’ll see.

We were told we couldn’t use the restaurant because there was a private event in and it was to busy.
