湖畔の立地。　　エレベータがないから2週間分のキャリーケースをを最上階までの上げ下げは大変だった。のぼりはスタッフに手伝ってもらったが。シングル部屋は十分広く、中に階段があって、ライティングデスクとバスルームが階下になるという面白い造り。でも部屋からは湖は見えなかった（Sea View Singleというカテゴリーが見つからなかった）。夕食時、併設レストランには宿泊カードを持っていくとオーダー受付が優先される。。朝食は良かった。Amble Sideの町中心までは徒歩だと20分ぐらいはかかる。このホテルの周りにはコンビニなどがない。Cafeも少ない。8月中旬なのに大変寒く、湖畔でお茶をする気にはなれなかった。

Third year staying here and what a different experience. Whether this was due to it being a bank holiday or not some things could have been better. On arrival not the usual warm welcome told we couldn’t book a table for food that night as not taking reservations, went outside and managed to book online!!!! Took 30 minutes queuing to check in and both nights took 25 minutes to queue for a drink and to order food at the bar. Ran out of beers second night and burgers on first night, considering we were told it’s like this all the time during holidays then you would expect enough stock to be ordered. The bar staff and those clearing the area worked really hard, credit to them. The breakfast system needs some thinking as you are constantly asked what room number you are when going up for the buffet and where the toaster is located blocks the way to the tables causing people to bump into one another. No fans in the room so had to open windows which not good being on a busy main road. Will seriously consider whether we would rebook again during the holiday season.

Fabulous spot next to lake Windermere. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

Nice room. Ours overlooked the road. But it was double glazed so not noisy. The en suite was nice. Had a window. The room was quite hot though so we opened the window. The breakfast was good. We asked for oat milk and veggie sausages that weren’t obviously on offer, but they obliged. The real winner was the view from the main bar / restaurant area over the lake. It was stunning.

One of the best hotels in the area. Beautiful garden overlooking the lake. Good food and friendly staff. It gets understandably busy on sunny days. Easy walk to Ambleside.

Lovely room, great location with easy parking & a great full breakfast!

Everything about the stay was great. Room was super comfy and convenient for our Dog. Location, parking and staff were super friendly and helpful.

Room was bright and clean! Staff were amazing! Restaurant and Bar were fantastic! Only upgrade I would suggest would be a door key upgrade to cards. Wonderful visit overall!

A lovely stay and stunning location over the lake. We had a dog friendly room which was great and will definitely stay again.

Great location. Free parking so you can abandon the car and use public transport and avoid the crowded car parks. Great views. Spacious room.

Lovely Hotel with wonderful views, would definitely stay again. Only minor niggle was small bathroom/shower unit for a twin bedroom.

Excellent stay with lovely food

Great location. Nice room with a lake view. Plentiful breakfast. Of note were the exceptionally hard working staff, particularly those working behind the bar and on reception.
