The hob and oven didn't work. Rooms smelled of moulds. When complained, they said they will send maintenance to fix. But no one came.

What a wonderful place on earth! Perfect location, staff ( reception, shop, pool) is helpful and professional. Special thanks to Management team for organising and running such a nice premises. It is worth mention Maintenance team for their commitment and hard work keeping impeccable territory around campus and facilities. Waiting to book another holiday to the same place. Big Thanks to all of you ANDREJS

Only minus are the single beds which were very narrow

I stayed Mon-Fri in a basic chalet, which was all I needed on my motorbike tour of the Isle of Wight. Although the chalet was at the budget end of the scale it provided everything I needed, in particular a clean bed with fresh linen and a clean bathroom (I paid for towel hire when checking in, saving valuable packing room).My only negative aspect was that the pots & pans, dinnerware & tableware should have been cleaner than they were (one pan looked as though it had been used and then placed back in the cupboard unwashed). I would recommend Housekeeping make a better check of these items in future as it seems some guests may not clean them thoroughly before checking out. Because I always wash the items I'm going to use beforehand there was no point taking this up with Reception. All in all, for the price paid, the accommodation was excellent value, the park was quiet and well kept. The staff I met were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, if I returned to the Isle of Wight in the future.

Room looks nothing like the pictures when booked. It is completely different. Floors were fairly dirt - we had to mop (which were provided, but clearly hadn't been used in some time as it had spider-webs inside the bucket), spillage down the wall by the master bed and food down the side of the cooker. Cigarette butts left on patio (should have been non-smoking). Beds however were clean and fresh. The Wi-Fi (free and paid for) hardly worked, location of the site also has poor mobile data reception. Often had to resort going to the bar to get a signal or use the Wi-Fi. Shower drain/plug was broken, standing shower would flood slightly when used. Only 1 usable power outlet per room, they also seemed fairly weak (unable to charge a device whilst in use, took 2 days to charge a phone) Hot & Cold water tap in the kitchen is the wrong way round, hot water is on the right but should be on the left. The pool was lovely, however, ruined by the amount of "rule breaking" and the lack of enforcement by life guards: - Children running around the pool, jumping in, almost jumping on other pool goers - Too many inflatables & balls in the pool - A lot of people taking pictures on mobiles - Considering the size of the pool and the amount of people, there aren't many sunbeds Staff were friendly and helpful, beach view was lovely but the beach itself is not overly accessible, as the route quite steep, which could have been communicated better by staff.

Very nice holiday camp. Chalet was very good value for 7 days. Didn't use the pools. Used the pub and dined there. Food ok but like the beer a bit pricey. Used the club for entertainment and drinks. Closed 10pm. one night. Overall we'd stop there again.

Rips in walls and shelf No or poor hot water in kitchen. Heating had to be on for hot water to work during 28 degrees heat Stains all over sofa bed No curtain on window Tiny bed. My son is near 6ft and you booked him as an under 7. He could not use the sofa bed as it was dirty. No WiFi Dirty Shower smells Beds smell Mattress and sheets dont fit frame Boiler needs heating on for hot water No towels as promised Alot smaller so cases dont fit in the room

Nice pools staff very friendly. Walk to beach was steep but nice.

We have stayed at Away resorts many times, this tie we stayed at 6 Tribeco, Whitecliff Bay holiday Park in my mind is a middle of the road resort and only as good as the staff that operate it, the property we stay in had not been cleaned that well, we don't have pets, however this property had also previously had pets there, when looking at the patio doors I could see where a Dog had been there possibly for quiet some time as there were lots of paw prints on the window and at the height of the dogs head noise and mouth marks, also what should have been clean plates and glasses left on the dining table covered in dust looked like they had been there for some time, all the window blinds were dusty, the shower control seemed to be adjustable, it seems to be quite standard these days, it does not put us of as i understand what a sloppy world we live in these days, first thing we always do is clean all plates etc, Hot Tub was very good, as i say we have stayed at Away resorts many times, and will be staying a another site on the isle white in a months time, however when ever we rebook there never seems to be much in the way of customer loyalty discount, also it would be nice to get into the property much sooner then 4pm as some properties are clearly supposedly ready well before that time, and some times we have been told to wait until 4pm then been given the keys only to find that nothing has been cleaned and it definatly not ready for occupation?

Nice pub, pool was good

Our only issue was no sound proofing between us and adjoined chalet. We could hear their conversations and we ended up creeping around so not to disturb them. Some labels/instructions on heaters would have helped too.

Excellent stay

The rooms were well stocked, everything you need (kitchen things etc) for a good stay, beds were very comfy. We stayed at the beginning of April so was pretty cold, the heating didn’t really cut it but when cooking the oven heated the room well. Some of the chalet could do with a bit of attention, bathroom a bit mouldy, bed cabinets grubby inside but to be honest I would stay again in a heartbeat 😁 Nice bit of entertainment on the evening, pool good, activities available for the kids. Front of house staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. We will be returning next year !!

Excellent, efficient and very friendly staff at Whitcliffe resort. The Lodge was immaculate, warm and very comfortable. It was a December stay so there wasnt any facilities open but the closeness to the beach and village coop was great. Highly recommended.

Clean and well laid out. Hot water. Staff very pleasant and helpful, prices in shop, bar, food etc could be a tad cheaper to encourage on site purchase. Would stay again and tell others.
