This hotel offers a roomrate by the hour. Expedia does not offer this option hence I paid for 24 hours but only stayed 8 hours, an overcharge of about $70.

I was at the reception of this hotel, where I was waiting for my flight the next day... I requested the reservation through Expedia and the amount went to my credit card. When checking in at the Hotel they made me wait for more than 6 hours during the night because they didn't find the payment amount. In short, they didn't make the room available to me and so far the amount is still appearing on my credit card for me to pay. There was a misunderstanding or a coup. This hotel is not worth it for how much trouble it caused. I hope it doesn't happen to more people and I'm already requesting a refund.

Excellent

I often stay at this hotel when I'm transiting through Addis, but this time felt really special. I was welcomed at reception like an old friend by Wasihun and Hailegrorgis, and the check-in process was seamless. My room was in perfect condition and very comfortable. The food options for breakfast were better than before, and it's clear that all feedback is taken seriously. Well done to the Skylight team!

Great place to stay for the night

On the website it stated all inclusive which is very confusing to my understanding all inclusive means breakfast, lunch and dinner and standard drinks but was no the case once I paid for it.

Convenient local. Room BO50 smelled of sewer, TV did not work, AC did not work stayed on 25deg. Breakfast was fridge cold, food was prepped the day before. Bed was comfortable, shower had hot water. But really deficient for $180/night when other government hotels close to airport are $50/nite.

This Skylark property is inside the airport terminal (you don't need to leave the airport) not to be confused with the other skylark property which is a 5 min walk outside. Very convenient when you have a long layover. Clean, comfortable bed with a good shower.

Always relaxing and convenient

Amazingly convenient. Stayed the night on a layover and didn’t have to clear immigration at all, walked out to the gate 20 metres from my room in the morning. Modern and clean rooms with a pretty good breakfast included

The most convenient hotel

The hotel is very convenient, well kept and clean. It is the best thing ever in the airport for passengers in transit.

Good

This hotel is in the airport terminal, no soundproofing at all so you hear every announcement and have to listen to music from the different eateries in the airport. Dinner and breakfast were dreadful and lukewarm at best. The only good thing I can say about this place is that it’s handy for an early flight!

Excellent position for airport connection

Really good for transit within airport terminal. But there were 2 of us but the room was only prepared for one person. It also had no soap or body wash just body lotion and shampoo.
