I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was excellent, the property was clean, and the food was great. It's close to the airport and snorkeling in front of the hotel is great. I recommend doing it in the morning as the current gets stronger in the afternoon. I can definitely see myself coming back again.

2度目の宿泊でした。ホテル前にはビーチはありませんが 、シュノーケリングするとサンゴが非常に綺麗に残っていて、お魚もいます。
連泊した分のミネラルウォーターの補給をしてほしいです。

Très bon séjour au Maitai de Rangui le seul bémol les moustiques dans tout les lieux partagés de l'établissement ,aucuns ventilateurs ,pour manger se sont les moustiques qui se régalent ou se poser tranquille au bord de la piscine .
Les travaux de réaménagement des bungalows ont été plus supportable que les petites bêtes.
Sinon restauration très bonne ,bungalows propre services impeccable

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property was under renovation so there was a lot of construction noise. Free breakfast was nice, not a huge assortment but good. Our air conditioner was not working well but already had to move due to loud barking dog, so we made due. Once the sun set it was cooler. The view and snorkeling was great. Pool was very nice. They rent old rusty bikes if you want to ride around. There is a little convenience store right outside property that came in handy. Welcome was nice with shell lai and juice. Van ride from Airport was $15.00 each way. It was literally 3 min away from property. This is a budget friendly hotel. Overall we were happy with our stay and would consider renting one of the new bungalows when done.

I think what makes this place one that you look forward to coming back to is the staff, friendly, helpful, and passionate about their job. Currently under renovation, but you hardly notice it if you are active throughout the day.

Excellente localisation. Le petit déjeuner est varié et délicieux; nous arrivions de Tikehau où les possibilités de se nourrir étaient plutôt limitées, donc nous étions 100% satisfaits. Les bungalows avec accès à la plage sont en rénovation, mais le site n’était pas bruyant. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

There only reason for the four stars on the property is because there is a lot of renovations going on that will only make it better.
Food was really good. I enjoyed there pool looking over the beautiful lagoon.

Le Maitai was a great place to stay. The room was amazing and the staff was very friendly and responsive. I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Rangiroa.

Espace bar, restaurant, piscine très agréable prolongé par un ponton au pied duquel on peut nager avec une multitude de poissons exotiques.
Chambre en bungalow double un peu étroite, propre.
Occultation loin d’être parfaite avec des spots dans le jardin braqués sur la baie vitrée.
Bon buffet au petit déjeuner. Personnel sympathique sans collier de coquillages en partant après un séjour de 3 jours. Les traditions se perdent…

We stayed at the Maitai for 4 days. The hotel is outdated, broken floor and windows. It’s pretty close to the airport and you can hear all the airplane noise due to the broken windows. The staff told us they could find us a better room from the second date but never come back to us for any updates. Will never go back again! Not recommended at all!!!

Personnel pas très accommodant, petit déjeuner moyen, dîner cuisine moyennes, pâtes tiède, poissons cru sans citron, tiponche sans citron vert,
Service sans sourires et plutôt stressé, un couple à côté est resté une bonne demi heure sans que les assiettes soient débarrassées.
L’endroit est joli mais le reste est au maximum entre 2 et 3 étoiles.
Dommage, une instruction et des recommandations feraient merveille.
