Auf den ersten Blick ein hübsches Hotel, auf den zweiten jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es gab sehr gute Themenrestaurants, die man einmal pro Aufenthalt buchen kann. Das Personal war größtenteils sehr freundlich.

Excellent service and amazing food. Service top notch! Biggest let down was the sofa beds for the 3rd and 4th occupant. These were not anywhere near a bed standard. They are concrete hard and the most uncomfortable place for anyone to sleep. This needs to be changed. Although adults can fit in them - I recommend this is looked into as the sore backs and necks were so bad from the lack of bed for the teens.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is certainly not a 5-star property and, in my opinion, not suitable for couples. We were a couple traveling to join friends who were staying at the same hotel with their two children. During booking, the only available option for two adults was a single mountain-view room. The photos on the hotel’s website looked decent, and being advertised as a 5-star resort, we decided to proceed with the reservation. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room and were immediately surprised — the entrance door was so small it felt like walking into a storage cupboard. The room was located right next to the housekeeping area, which was noisy and disruptive. Inside, the room was extremely small, and the bathroom was so tiny that it was difficult to use the shower or toilet comfortably. The window was also very small, making the space feel even more cramped. It looked nothing like the photos on the website. We went to the reception to request a room change and were told that no alternative rooms were available until the next day — even though we offered to pay extra for an upgrade. When we returned to our room, we noticed that the bed sheets were not clean, which was unacceptable. We contacted the manager, who informed us that only two rooms were available: one was a disabled-access room and the other required cleaning and maintenance. We viewed both options and reluctantly chose the disabled-access room, as it was at least more space.

This was our 10th visit to Aila & it never fails. The staff, too many to mention, all make the holiday - they make you feel more like family & friends than guests. See you all again next year.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo splendido resort pieni di aspettative!bellissimo hotel personale super gentile,cibo nei ristoranti di ottima qualità ,colazione super,pranzo e cena buffet di normale qualità,intrattenimento serale ottimo Nota dolente e spiace a dirlo Camera vista montagna troppo ma troppo piccola,bagno piccolissimo e mancanza di una vera doccia!!! Nota super dolente scarsa pulizia nella camera e bagno.riferito più volte al personale della reception e mostrando anche fotografie scattate ma nulla è cambiato .avremmo preferito un upgrade ma invece ci è stato offerto una giornata uso gazebo in spiaggia. Situazione non da 5 stelle! Un vero peccato!

Magnifique séjour

I hate doing this as I rarely write about a negative experience but this is NOT a 5 star resort! No AC in the main areas of the hotel, (which just sets the tone from when you walk in) followed by an extensive wait to check-in which took over an hour, limited dining as your only allowed 1 reservation per entire stay at the (as they call them 3 themed restaurants but are actually 1 space divided making it very crowded) food is mediocre for a 5 star resort, the 3 main restaurants have limited seating all outside and very crowded, limited staff around the pool and on the beach, and the absolute worst is having to wake up at 5-6am to go save seating for your family by the pool or on the beach!!! Too many decorative pools that are inaccessible make the main pool area very crowded and not enough seating. Met and spoke to about 7 different families. Everyone we met had something to complain about from check-in taking hours to not having the rooms reserved ready and placing them in other rooms. We are very positive people and made the best of it. Really enjoyed the company and conversation of the bar staff at the main outdoors bar on the main floor. Teodora, Jenny, Alex, a few others forgot their names and the lovely Josephine who works so hard around the pool and the beach! I also want to highly encourage guests to tip the staff as we sadly noticed this to not be very common at all. They work hard but there’s not enough staff for this size facility.

Wir haben das Hotel zum zweiten Mal besucht. Nichts, was im letzten Jahr kaputt war, wurde repariert. Daher sehen wir, dass sich seit einem Jahr niemand um die zerbrochenen Scheiben oder die alten und verschimmelten Dichtungen in der Dusche gekümmert hat. Auch die Handtücher waren grau und unangenehm. Das Essen hingegen war von hoher Qualität und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr sind wir jedoch etwas enttäuscht. PS: Das Personal leistet dafür großartige Arbeit!

We have had a fantastic holiday at this resort. The hotel, staff and facilities are exceptional. The food is very good and the highlight was the fireworks and full moon party on our last night. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return again.

We recently stayed at the Mitsis Alila and had an overall pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean, modern, and offered plenty of storage space, which made unpacking and settling in really convenient. If you’re booking, I’d highly recommend choosing a sea view room—the views of the crystal clear water and beach are absolutely worth it. All the staff were friendly, from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff. That said, I would say this hotel felt more like a 4-star experience overall. The main restaurant buffet could be cleaner, and the quality of some food was disappointing—most of the bread was stale, for example the gyros, crepes, and hot dogs buns. Soft drinks were also often flat. Despite that, the beautiful beach, great staff, and clean, well-equipped rooms made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With a few improvements to the dining and beverage service, it could easily live up to its 5-star promise.

Rooms - could do with more attention to detail in the decor / paint scuffs etc Service - 50:50 some interactions were excellent, some were really below expectations as of the staff didn’t want to work there and customers were a chore. But there were others that were really excellent. I’ve never been to a hotel with sich a range Facilities - excellent, couldn’t ask for more Catherine - excellent, the best of any hotel I have been to incl much more expensive locations Advice - use some of the excess space to give a better gym experience, potentially an inside:outside gym Convenience - excellent, close to airport and major attractions
