The breakfast at the restaurant was poor. There are not many seats, so you may have to wait outside during busy periods. It seems that the service has deteriorated, as it used to be better in the past.

Our stay was okay. The rooms were modern and clean. However, it was disappointing for a four-star hotel to lack a smart TV for Netflix. The breakfast was perfect with plenty of choices and was very convenient. It was slightly annoying that we couldn’t bring outside food like drinks into the hotel. The door man said we couldn’t drink them inside but then went in and saw a group of people drinking outside drinks in the lobby. We were also told we couldn’t lie on the ground near the pool as it was a safety hazard (there were no lounges) but the next day we had booked a sun lounge and there were people lying around.

My stay at The President Hotel was okay the Hotel itself and the room was really good and so was the breakfast options for €12 a morning was great value.
The rooftop pool was great especially after a day walking around the city was nice to be able to cool off.
However the problems of the hotel was really the staff members, please note not every member of staff was unhelpful there were a couple on the front desk and two in the rooftop bar one being Christos and the gentlemen with the square shades who I was having a great conversation with about the football.
Majority of the staff at the hotel did not seem to want to be there and we were ignored a few times when trying to order drinks and food and when coming to pay we wanted to split the bill and this was a massive issue as some staff couldn’t do it some wouldn’t and then some did.
The rooftop bar food was good however the cocktails were lackluster at best not worth the price tag that they advertise. The cocktails in the lobby bar were better but still not great.
Overall the hotel and facilities were great however it is let down by some of the staff. Not intending to visit Athens for a while but if I did I wouldn’t rush back to the President Hotel.

I stayed in a lower priced room this time and the housekeeping was very poor, 3 times I had to ask reception for towels, tea, coffee and sugar. Basically all they did was empty the bins.

The front reception area was well staffed, and very helpful. Views from the restaurant upstairs were great. Breakfast was very good, and staff was really nice. Rooms were clean, but the staff did not clean rooms or provide amenities if you stayed more than one day unless specifically asked for.
