The mattress was in terrible condition, with many springs sticking out, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. It caused back pain, and on top of that, the area was completely unsafe

Roy hotel is a decent hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Room was ok, very basic but in a good state. However the bathroom deserves very good attention, no shower holder, a deep cleaning is very much needed. The area is a bit rough, especially when it gets dark, although I did not feel unsafe. The area offers a lot of coffee shops, great underground and buses links, walking distance to the Karaiskaki Square, where there is a stop to the hop on and hop off Athens day tours bus.

We left the hotel immediately. The area is dangerous and the hotel is sketchy. There are warnings everywhere that if something is stolen they are not responsible. They require you to give them your room keys and don't accept if you object.

Personale molto gentile e reception 24/24. La struttura è molto vecchia, la camera molto piccola, mancanza di prese elettriche. Non molto pulita. L’acqua in bagno viene solo tiepida o calda. Non c’è acqua fredda. Bagno molto piccolo e scomodo, oltre che sporco (c’erano peli sul wc). Il dispositivo per la luce era difettoso, abbiamo dovuto mettere un pezzo di carta per farlo funzionare. D’altronde…chi spende poco gode poco…

The location is perfect. It’s close to the train station, close to amazing bakery’s like Acharnon 221 104 46 Athens, Greece. The staff is super friendly, they helped us with our luggage’s and get taxis.

Washroom is very old, broken toilet seat, floor very dirty, room smell smoke so bad and the mattresses is basically sleeping on a metal coils, Far away from all city centre

Good value for money but not the best location.

An old hotel that could do with some modernization (especially in the bathroom) but overall good value for money. One negative was there were only one power plug in the room by the door and none near bed. But i would stay again.

When first check in the entire lobby smell like cigarettes, people smoking , furniture was old and well taking care of , checking process is very antiquated and old fashion, every time I went out I was ask to leave the key , wired BUT I can understand that since you need that room key to activate power in the room which I was not explain at check in , I figure it out base in my travelers to other countries . Bathroom door did not close , it was not shower head only like a hose and faucet , it was dirty and old , mattress were hard and comfortable at all , the area was not the best either , did not fill entirely safe to walk around at night . I am not the type that likes to complain BUt I feel this time I need it to give my feed back hopping ownership of this hotel can put some money in to it and modernize a little the facility from bathrooms to check in process and not someone writhing down by hand my personal passport information, hope owners also clean up public spaces so guest can feel like they want to relax in them and maybe put some coffee shop or something , I would totally stay in and spend money there specially since I didn’t feel safe to walk around and don’t have to smell cigarettes everywhere “”maybe have designated areas to smoke “” Looking forward to hear from someone .

It was not as advertised. I was given the worse room in that hotel. Bathroom was very old and smell like mold. Saw some mold on the walls of shower . The sink drain was leaking. Toilet flush stopped working after a few uses. Had to do it manually on my last night. I would have changed my hotel after I checked in but unfortunately I was tight with my budget. I have stayed in a lot hotels and motels around the world but I rate this place a motel.

Great price for the value. Excellent attitude. Pretty close to the metro.

Very friendly receptionists. Hotel is clean. Loads of cheap food and grocery shops near by. AC TV both work. 24 hours open. I liked my stay.
