黄色いかわいい外観の木造のちいさなアパートメント（簡易キッチンつき）です。 超シンプルアパートメントですが、清潔に清掃されておりました。 特にロビーも何もありませんので、チェックインは入口のボタンを押しておじさん（多分おじさんは３階住人）を呼び出します。扉を開けたらすぐにお部屋に案内され、とても丁寧に説明してくれます。階段しかないのでチェックインとチェックアウト時のトランク運びが不便ですが、あとは気にならないと思います。 アパートメントなのでタオルくらいしかありませんし、アイスランドの物価はかなり高いので、歯ブラシ・シャンプーなどは事前準備がベターです。スリッパは常備のものがありましたが使いまわしなので、潔癖の方はご自分で用意された方がいいと思います。 シャワーは天井固定のものと動かせるタイプのシャワーがありますが、浴槽はありません。 一番気になる部分は、床の音がかなり響くので周囲の方に配慮して歩く必要があります。氷河ツアーにトレッキングシューズを履いて出かけ帰宅した際、翌日おじさんに注意されました。階段の音が響いていたので、夜遅い時間は靴は脱ぐなどして配慮してくださいと。 何でも物価の高いアイスランドにおいて、料金的にもお安いので、床の音など気にしない方にはおすすめかと思います。

Check in was easy and location is great. Unit had a bit of a weird smell. Beds could’ve been a bit more comfortable. Overall it is a bit dated but the price was lower compared to a lot of the other places around.

A lovely warm welcome. The apartment was great, very clean and enough room for 3 people. The kitchenette had everything you'd need and the bathroom was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. The apartments were close to the city centre and a two minute walk from Hallsgrimkirkja. Buses were close by to bring to Perlan if you wanted to go. Lots of bakeries, cafes and restaurants in your doorstep too. Perfect place for your holiday stay.

Everything was great! Our one bedroom had a very nice kitchen fully supplied with utensils, cookware and dishes. Everything was nit clean and well organized. The information was well prepared. The location is perfect: right next to restaurants and city attractions. The heat was easy to control. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything put together, Alfreds Apartment was truly one of the best bookings we stayed in.

This apartment was perfect for a 4 day visit to Reykjavík. It’s in a great location, 2 min walk to a grocery store (Bonus) and Main Street with shops and restaurants. Quick walk to the main church and rainbow street and 5 min walk to a main road with two bus stop pick ups for airport, blue lagoon and all excursions. The apartment has a mini fridge, hot plate and everything you need. Also very warm and the twin apartment has a balcony. Would stay here again and recommend. Easy check in and out as well!

We stayed here as a family of five and it was a great fit for our needs. The apartment is on the smaller side, but it was thoughtfully laid out and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better – close to resturants, shoping, the church, the older city of iceland, the water sculpture, etc which made exploring very easy. The loft bedroom is open, so it may not be ideal for families with very young children, but for us it worked perfectly. Overall, a cozy, well-located place that we would happily stay in again.

Older style but fantastic location to grocery/shopping/food. The door locks a bit tricky as I had trouble and had to explain to 3 other people how to use them. It was clean and laundry on site which was great.

Wonderful Stay at Alfred’s Apartments We had a fantastic stay at Alfred’s Apartments! The space was exactly as pictured—clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The host was kind and welcoming, making check-in and communication easy. The location was perfect, with restaurants and a grocery store just a short walk away. The apartment had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed. Our teenager especially loved the cozy loft space. It was a perfect home base for our trip, and we would definitely stay here again!
