生活で良い

市街中心部から少し離れたところにある。市外へのバスは約460円もするので歩いたが、30分はかかる。 部屋が清潔で広いのは良い。ただし、6月だが、エアコンが無くて、部屋の暖房が効いていないので少し肌寒かった。 宿泊費は高い気がするが、アイスランド全体が高いので仕方がないと思う。

【良かった点】 ■料金が他のホテルと比べて安価。 ■コンセントが枕元にある。 ■水道水がきれいで硫黄の匂いもしなかった。 【悪かった点】 ■シャワーとトイレがガラス張りになっているため使用中に見えてしまう。 ■レイキャビックから徒歩30分以上離れている。 ■布団が薄い。 ■周りにスーパー無し。車がないと動けません。 ■1Fは店舗が入っていたため、かなり見つけにくかった。

レイキャヴィク中心部からは少しだけ離れていますが、車移動であれば全く問題ありません。駐車場も無料でした。スタッフも親切でしたし、部屋も狭くはなく綺麗でした。アネックスの2階の部屋でしたが、難点はエレベーターがないので荷物を運ぶのが大変だったことくらいです。夜も静かで快適に過ごす事ができました。他のホテル同様にシャワーからは硫黄の匂いがする温泉水が出てました。お肌にいいのかも？？

お国柄、お湯に硫黄成分が含まれていてにおうが、それ以外は全く問題なかった。フロントの美人女性が朝食作りから何からすべてこなしている様子。特に手作りワッフルは最高。近くに飲食店もあり、立地も問題なかった。

レイキャビクの拠点として４泊連泊しました。街の中心部からは車で７〜８分程ですが、レンタカーがあれば不便は無いです。車が無い場合でも、バスツアー会社の送迎先リストに載っているので、ホテルのロビー発着で主な観光地に行けます。立地条件としてはヒルトン等の近所のホテルと同じと言えます。部屋は広く、キッチン・食器・レンジ・冷蔵庫完備。バスタブは無いが、バスルームも清潔で、なんとシャワーや蛇口のお湯は硫黄の匂いのする温泉が出てきます。肌がすべすべになります。１階がレストランになっていて、朝ツアーのバスを待つ時など快適で、夜は１１時まで空いているので、市街地の店が閉まった後でも安心です。朝食はハム・チーズ・パンやコーヒー・ジュース等簡単な物が揃っています。 こじんまりしたホテルですが、細かいところに手が届く、快適なホテルだと思います。 ちなみに、現在ホテル名は「Arctic Comfort Hotel」ですが、旧名は「Hotek Vik」だったようで、バスツアー会社の送迎リストにもHotel Vikで登録されていますが同じホテルなので注意。

First, we had trouble getting into the hotel. There is no physical staff on the property. They email you with a code to get into the front door and the same code opens your room door. Ours didn’t work. I phoned them to help us get in. The gentleman who answered was very pleasant and helpful. We got in the building. It must be under renovation because the floors are not finished and looked like a construction zone. The room was fine and finished. The bathroom had a huge heavy glass door, an extremely small sink and an equally small waste basket. The beds were comfortable. Overall, we liked the room. It is close to shops and about a 10 minute drive to the church and area.

We booked 5 rooms for 2 nights - intense mould smell in one of the rooms made it unlivable. The person had to find another place to stay. - The 4 other rooms were quite ok inside. Requested refund for one of the rooms but still no confirmation. Also, hallway and staircase was raw concrete and looked like a building site. No warnings or notifications that the hotel is undergoing renovation, so just have to assume this is how they plan to keep it. The hallway by itself, would have prevented us from booking here. I would not stay here.

Clean room, beautiful views

Room was really nice. Looks like they are currently remodeling and doing upgrades to the floors and stairwell. Area is very quiet. Room could be darker so if you need absolute darkness find additional means. Never had the breakfast so can't comment. Wish they had a phone for the guests to use somewhere to call them as there is no staff. Had a room mixup, where the room I was old I had, was not the room I was assigned. Once I got a hold of the using a locals phone, was resolved very quickly.

We didn’t take the breakfast option. We took advantage of an in-room refrigerator. Overall, the apartment was adequate. The beds were comfortable. There is no sink in the food prep area, only a sink in the bathroom. There are no towel racks. The floor was not swept. The sofa set was very dirty, to the point of being able to smell food or oils on it. There is a really good restaurant next door, Ginger- healthy, tasty choices. Open 11-8. We walked to a gym to use their spa services. And maybe the biggest perk is that the Arctic Comfort Hotel is a stop on the bus pick up for tours and getting to the airport. If you’re not fussy, this is a convenient place to stay.

Aucun accueil, pas de lumière dans la chambre, les produits de douche vides, et aucun code d’arriver, ne plus rester deux heures au téléphone pour rester dans la chambre. Et quand il est 2h du matin c’est pas terrible c’est hôtel est décevant

Totalmente recomendable, el único problema es que está algo lejos del centro de Reykjavik, pero la mayoría de los Tours tienen pick up ahí o muy cerca. La falta de una recepción es algo inquietante aún, pero el personal estuvo en contacto frecuente a través de la mensajería de Expedia y sus instrucciones fueron muy claras y eficientes. El cable en la TV, no funcionó pero son smartTV así que pude usar YouTube y Netflix sin problema.

Chambre propre à notre arrivés. Enfin après avoir perdu plus de 45mn à pouvoir rentrer dans la chambre car le code d'accès ne fonctionnait pas si a la porte d'entrée du hall ni sur la porte de la chambre. Le contact avec le numéro d'urgence à été compliqué également mais nous avons fini par y arriver... Il est précisé que la chambre n'est faite dans la semaine que sur demande sauf que c'est avec supplément. Pas très cool. Du coup je pense que lorsque qu'ils ont refait les chambres (très joli d'ailleurs) et ajouter les 3/4 équipements, un petit balai et une pelle dans un coin n'aurais pas été de trop. Bien placé et au calme, nous avons apprécié tout de même notre séjour dans ce lieu, malgré les quelques soucis au départ.
