フライトの前泊として宿泊。綺麗だが狭かった。小綺麗な山小屋と言う感じ。駐車場が目の前にあるが、コテージまでは砂利道なのでスーツケースを引けないのが残念。周りは何もなく静かで、夜空は綺麗だった。共有施設のメインビルディングにはキッチンも付いていて、ダイニングテーブルや椅子もあったので、居心地が良かった。

Nous avons séjourné a deux reprises dans ces cottages: une fois à notre arrivée en Islande, dans un cottage comportant une salle de bain et avant notre départ, avec une salle de bain partagée. Les deux logements étaient vraiment supers, propres et fonctionnels. C’est très proche de l’aéroport mais tout de même calme. Il y a une cuisine partagée qui est bien pratique. Il y avait deux salles de bain à partager entre maximum 4 cottages. Quand nous y sommes allés, c’était très propre et bien chauffé. Je recommande vivement ces cottages!

Check in was easy with an instruction in an email. Room is nice and spacious. Free Netflix included.

It was my second time. Always clean and cozy. All you need after a day full of adventures.

Yes on both counts, we wanted to give our accolades to whoever laid out the building site and the interiors, as the buildings were pointed in the right direction so that the rear window provided an excellent view of the northern lites without having to go outside. Also; we enjoyed going into town to use the geo-thermal hot tub and sauna, very nice. All in all, we had a very good stay.

Clean room, great kitchen and bathrooms. Would absolutely recommend if you need to stay close to the airport.

My stay at Istay Cottage was unplanned after my flight was canceled, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The cottage was cozy, clean, and very comfortable — exactly what I needed after a long travel day. The best part was the incredible view of the Northern Lights right from the property — an unforgettable experience I hadn’t expected to have! The host was kind and accommodating, making a stressful situation much easier. I’m so glad I ended up here and would happily stay again under any circumstance.

Not so good. No wifi. No water or water bottles. No kettle. Just stay.

Very nice design. Room was excellent. The scenery was fantastic.

The onsite were not filled and it wasn’t convenient to access the kitchen as you had to walk all the way around to the front and needed to always use your key.

Perfectly presented and clean - a great spot to stay if you have an early morning international flight.

Petit Cottage en pleine nature super sympa. C'est calme et on n'est pas dérangé par les voisins (ou peur de les déranger si départ très matinal pour prendre l'avion). Grand espace à l'intérieur du Cottage. Super cuisine et salle commune, très moderne. Il y a plein de restes dans les frigos (sûrement des personnes sur le départ). Salles de bain spacieuses avec WC à l'intérieur (peut poser problème si les 2 salles de bains sont prises). Arrivée autonome très pratique et possibilité d'aller à la piscine (gratuitement) de la ville (nous n'avons hélas pas eu le temps). Grand parking à côté de la salle commune. Petit bémol : notre lampe de chevet ne fonctionnait pas.
