시설도 좋고 다 좋습니다. 공용주방도 깔끔하고 오로라도 날씨가 좋으면 볼 수 있을 듯 싶은데 비가 와서 못봤네요. 다만, 3명이라 저는 소파베드를 펴서 잤는데 베드버그인지 샌드플라이인지에 7~9군데 정도 물렸습니다.

전체적인 평점은 만점입니다. 개인 공간의 별도의 공간이라 더 좋았고, 위치 또한 좋았습니다. 굳이 단점을 뽑자면 부엌이 별도의 공간으로 빠져있어 공용으로 사용하게끔 되어있는것인데, 하지만 이 또한 좋았습니다. 요리를 해먹어도 침실에는 전혀 냄새가 안배기 때문에.. 아무튼 다음에 아이슬란드 여행을 가면 이 곳에 몇일 동안 묶기를 희망할 정도로 좋았습니다.

Very clean comfortable cabin! Enjoyed the peaceful setting and being so near to the airport for our flight home.

Everything is great. Best part is that, there is a huge kitchen for guests to use.

This was a very quick trip for me, but the property was lovely, the cottages clean and just what i needed.

Property is very unique, clean, and comfortable. It’s adjacent to a campground and seems a little like ‘glamping’ so just make sure your expectations are correct and you will have a great stay! It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but actually it’s very quick and easy access to the airport. We were happy with our interesting choice for one night before our flight home the next morning. We asked for extra towels and pillows and they were quick to respond and accommodate.

One of the things I wanted to do on this trip was to stay at a tent pod. This was the perfect location for our last night in Iceland since it was a short drive to the airport. I didn't see any staff since its a self check-in, but the instructions were easy and we got our key right away. There is a hot tub, but we didn't have time to get in. The shared kitchen is spacious and has all necessary appliances.

Deutsch: Wir haben dieses Cottage wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen gewählt und waren begeistert von der besonderen Atmosphäre. Das Tiny House liegt mitten in einer wunderschönen Landschaft aus Lupinen, Moosen und Lava und bietet ein modernes, großzügiges Bad. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und gemütlich. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnten verbessert werden: Warmes Wasser fehlte leider, Wandhaken für Jacken und zusätzliche Ablagen wären praktisch, da es keinen Schrank gibt. Die Hotpots waren leider außer Betrieb, was schade war, da sie den Abend sicher noch gemütlicher gemacht hätten. Trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die einzigartige Lage, die Ruhe und das moderne Design machen dieses Cottage zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. English: We chose this cottage because of its convenient location near the airport and loved its unique atmosphere. The tiny house is surrounded by beautiful nature with lupines, moss, and lava fields and offers a modern, spacious bathroom. The design is stylish and cozy. A few things could be improved: unfortunately, there was no hot water, and wall hooks for jackets as well as additional storage space would be useful, as there is no wardrobe. The hot tubs were out of service, which was a pity as they would have made the evenings even more relaxing. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our stay. The unique location, peaceful surroundings, and modern design make this cottage a special place.

Highly recommend! It is in such a beautiful location and being so close to the airport was very convenient. Check in was super easy :)

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just a few ideals...Could use a few simple things like Kleenex and maybe some more wall hooks or shelving in the room since there is no closet. Would be nice to have two pillows on each side of the bed. Towels are a bit worn. The most challenging part was having cold (yes, cold - not even luke warm) water for the morning showers. We reached out to ask what the trick may be and never received a response. It wasn't due to user error, as we know how to use those types of showers. I believe the water heater was out of service, or other guests had used all of it. For this price level, I guess we did expect some of these conveniences. At the same time, it was a great location, and we did put some stuff in the shared kitchen refrigerator, which was useful.

We stayed here on the last night of our Iceland adventure to be close to the airport and it was perfectly located and so quick to airport. Nothing fancy, but clean and nice

Ideally situated close to the airport. Easy to access. Clean. The communal area was ideal. Free access to local pool/sauna was a bonus. Would definitely book again.

Easy simple

The rooms themselves were actually very nice, clean, comfortable, and we initially had a great impression of our stay. Unfortunately, our checkout experience completely changed that. The maid's behavior was incredibly disappointing and honestly shocking. She was rude, spoke to us in a very aggressive manner, and repeatedly followed us around while we were in the process of leaving, as if she assumed we were not going to follow the checkout instructions or return the key properly. We were already preparing to check out and there was absolutely no reason to be treated with that level of hostility. As guests, you expect to feel welcomed and respected. Instead, we felt uncomfortable and rushed out. One employee can dramatically change an entire experience, and unfortunately this interaction overshadowed what otherwise could have been a pleasant stay. The rooms deserve praise, but customer service and respectful treatment of guests matter just as much.

I arrived in the morning and the host was very accommodating. The room was very cozy and clean as well as the bathrooms and shared areas. I was very comfortable with my stay and the view of the northern lights was right outside the cottage. I would definitely stay here again!

Es war mein zweiter Aufenthalt im IStay Cottage. Ich hatte ein Tiny House mit modernem großen Bad. Bin super zufrieden gewesen und werde bei meinem nächsten Island Trip wiederkommen.
