A really nice apartment with a great view of the river. A comfortable place to stay with plenty of room. Glad to have a washer and dryer, instructions on the operation of them would have been great asset.

Kristin (the owner) is a very caring person, she personally come in to greet us when we arrive; she also knock the door to let us know to come out to see the northern lights; her hospitality really make us feel like we are special guests. the apartment is very clean, it is equipped with everything we need and kitchen has all needed to make reasonable dinner for family of 4. Location is also very convenience, short drive to supermarket. We were very happy with the stay. One of the best place we choose in Iceland.

We were so happy with our decision to stay at this apartment. The owner is amazing and so responsive. She also supplied many items and was very thoughtful in how everything is set up. If you are thinking about booking this place, you will not be disappointed.

The owner is just wonderful. The apartment is perfect for a couple or small family. We loved having a washer and dryer. Well stocked kitchen! Great location central to lots of wonderful places. Highly recommend. It was one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland.

Apartment is lower level of owner's home. Private entrance, well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was very easy to deal with and even offered to knock on the door if the Northern Lights were out (which they were!). Would absolutely stay there again if I'm ever back in Selfoss.

Lovely studio apartment looking out on the River. Kristin was wonderful and accommodating.
Nice having a kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch since food in Iceland is pricey.
Selfoss the perfect start to start our adventure!!

Had a great one night stay at River Apartment. Had some difficulties with tv and could have used some instructions. Apartment was well equipped: coffee machine (with coffee and filters), toaster, even had some basic supplies (pasta etc). Sofa bed was good to sleep.

Tout a été juste parfait. Merci Kristin pour ce bel accueil et la qualité du logement. Nous avons passer une excellente nuit. On se sent comme à la maison après une grosse journée de balade. Il y a tout, sèche cheveux, lave linge sèche linge bref... Tout.
Merci pour le cadeau au chocolat nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Inside the property amenities cleanliness and condition are excellent! However parking is a struggle, outside noise can be an issue, and frequent smoking from others outside limited our ability to enjoy any fresh air. Really good stay but the neighborhood needs to catch up with the excellent internal comforts. Thanks
