Very convenient location Greatvroom and services Courtesy staff.

Right from the door man to the front desk associate, all staff were very friendly, helpful & courteous. Staff at the restaurant were very welcoming too. Bell boys & housekeeping staff were more than willing to help. Apart from the amenities in a hotel, it's the essential staff (mentioned above) that make a big difference in the service satisfaction to the guest staying at any hotel. Me & my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at Olive Downtown Kochi & will return again.

Friendly staff...from security to concierge to attendants and restaurant crew. Front desk was ok also. Always greeted by friendly smiles and hello. Didnt feel unwelcomed being a tourist. They met our requests and helped us with arrangements. We did try to cancel after a mistake in booking. Unfortunately nonrefundable and hotels.com did try to make it right but it is up to hotel to provide refund. We tried this twice with hotels.com and contacted hotel. Unfortunately hotel did not want to accommodate or entertain idea of refund or offer alternative solution. Created a bind for us but we didnt die...can always look at it like that right? The water on occassion was not warm or hot and the pillows and bed sheets had bad odor and smelt of sweat from previous occupant? I requested hotel to change and they did so promptly. Breakfast was AMAZING. On the spot Masala Dosa or Ghee Roast... fresh fruits, Indian to American to European dishes to select from. All were great in flavor and presentation. Very clean restaurant also. Rooftop patio was just ok to look from. Not sure I'd dine there due to the pollution, dust, and dirt kicked up from the junction that the hotel is dead smack located. No fault of the hotel. Location is awesome. You have everything you need a stone throws away and the area makes for great people watching.
