Hotel persons were very good. They have such a hospitality that they helped me with connection to Wi-Fi, buffet at breakfast, kind words in checkout. However, the hotel facilities were not good. I made a reservation including a free Wi-Fi, but the volume for connection was limited and very small. Bathroom was not old. It was a pity because hotel persons are very nice and good...

綺麗だし、地下鉄の駅からも近いし、サダルストリートやニューマーケットなど名所も徒歩圏内。室内ではバスタブ完備。お湯もしっかり出るので一週間ぶりに湯船に浸かれ旅の疲れを癒せた。アメニティも充実しているので文句なし。ホテルのすぐ隣に映画館があり夜遅くても心配なし。 個人的には9階のフィットネスルームからの眺めがとてもよく気に入った。器具の充実度はまあまあ。インドだと思えば良い方かと。 朝食のビュッフェも種類が多いうえ美味しい。 一つ残念なところを敢えて挙げれば、ロビー階のパソコンが日本語対応していないところだろうか。 それ以外は文句なし。とても快適に過ごせた。

値段も高級なホテルですが、コルカタの雑踏に疲れた体をゆっくり休ませる為には素晴らしいホテルです。 ホテルのスタッフの皆さんもホスピタリティ溢れています。長く泊まるほどに満足感を感じます。 朝食レストランも大変サービスもよく、食事もおいしいです。 次回もこのホテルにとまるつもりです。 ちなみに日本語は通じません。 最初、バスルームのタオルが一組しかおいてなかったり、設置してあるはずのドライヤーがなかったりはありますが、それほどマイナスには感じませんでした。 帰りのタクシーも私の言い値の料金で空港に行ってくれるタクシーが見つかるまで交渉してくれました。

The best cost performance in Kolkata. Just in front of Esplanede metro station, and north next to Oberoi Grand. Room is very clean, except the case you left some food in your room drawing cockroach. And also, you shoud better to avoid the dry cleaning service of laundry, or your dress would smell like fuel. I enjoyed dinner at Restaurant AHHERI, sadly to notice there is no tea, no coffee, and no alcohol .

The hotel was wonderful. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. The concierge Amit seemed to be looking out for me. He was very helpful in everyway. I was able to walk to India Museum from this hotel as well as Saint John's Church for the Black hole of Kolkata memorial. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, although the staff did seem to have a hard time keeping everything fully stocked. I would definitely stay again.

Thankyou to the staff who were always ready to Lean a hand. They were so nice and helpful. Food from Oceania was great..If you are sensitive to noise I advise you ask for a quieter side of the hotel as where I was, faced the road. The noise from traffic went a lot of the day and night with a loud speaker also on top of this. Otherwise great stay thankyou

Friendly staff, spacious room

Rooms cleanliness could be seriouly improved, to the standards advertised. We were in rooms 1105 and 1106. Occasionally roaches, and a lot of dust in the rear and underneath the beds. We had to address it to be fixed, but a tip was always subtly requested by housekeepers. Staff, extremely polite and always with a smile. But our taxis to the airport were organised by 2 senior Bell men. They gave us a promising 600 roopies for 2 vehicles each. When we boarded the vehicles, the booking was for another destination matching 600 roopies,not the Airport!!!! After arguing with the Uber drivers, we finally paid 2000 roupees for each taxis. Breakfast buffet: it is advertised as international. THAT IS A WRONG DESCRIPTION. MOSTLY indian food, even yogurts are local. The only international food were omelette and corn flakes. Breakfast clearly needs to be improved. But overall, the GM was extremely condescendant, briefed his staff to care for us above expectations. Location is very good too.

As a returning guest, I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. While our first visit was excellent, this second experience fell significantly short of expectations. The service quality has deteriorated considerably, particularly at the front desk. Despite having confirmed reservations for two superior rooms, we faced numerous challenges: Major Issues Encountered: 1. Unresponsive customer support phone line 2. Extended check-in delays due to "rooms not being ready" 3. Room type discrepancy - given lower category rooms than booked, with a casual suggestion to "adjust for one night" 4. Misleading website photos - advertised images are from the original building, while we were placed in the new building without reception facilities 5. Extremely poor room service responsiveness requiring multiple follow-ups The staff's default response to any concern was simply "this is our policy," showing little regard for guest satisfaction. For a hotel charging premium rates, the service standards are unacceptably low. The disconnect between price point and service quality is striking. Given this unsatisfactory experience, I cannot recommend this hotel for family stays and will not be returning.

Decent

It had cockroaches in the room- spotted small cockroaches in teh bathroom sink on multiple days. They changed the room. Overall experience - quite bad. Staff was unfelpful want requested to accomodate an additional person in their guest roster, though only 2 of us stayed in the room for 9 days. We wanted them swap one guest with another for some of the days but they were unwilling to help. Power cut - once got stuck in the elevator due to power disruption - though it restarted shortly but the claustrophobic feeling during the power cut in the elevator in hot weather was something else. Won't recommend

We stay here for the third time. Every thing is perfect : staff, house keeping, room and breakfast. The location is very convenient with the metro and new market. We will come back..
