英語がおぼつかない私でも丁寧に対応していただいて部屋も綺麗で快適でした。 強いて上がるなら、電気変圧器の差し口の接触が悪くて充電に少し苦労しました。

マドゥライの中ではかなりいい方だと思う。 日本と比べると劣る点はあるが、あまり気にならなかった。 従業員も丁寧だし部屋も綺麗だった。 シャワーがぬるいのとトイレに難はあった(洋式だが、ウォシュレットは自分の手で備え付けのシャワーを当てる。トイレットペーパーも少ない)が、このホテルに限った話ではなくインド全体のことらしいので受け入れた。

This hotel is a lovely 3 star hotel, I would recommend it if you're travelling in Madurai and is perfectly close to the railway station (just across the road). They have a massage chair in the Royal Suite which was absolutely lovely. This is a really good 3 star hotel, they advised me that they would pack my breakfast as i had an early start but unfortunately they did not do this so I would just say that you may want to reconfirm with them before going to bed. Room service was good too, I was happy as it was only 10 mins from the Thirumalai nayyaker mahal which was 80 rupees in a tuk tuk via Uber.

The staff did not make any effort and limied english. The toilet in lobby area totally disgusting further the bathroom smelt very bad

Stayed for 4 nights. The Hotel is very old and need renovation. Room fridge doesn’t work well. It spoiled our meal once. We ordered parcel breakfast, which came out stale. Recommend to higher category room which are bit better.

The amenities are very good, the staff is very friendly and helpful, it’s proximity to Meenakshi Temple and the Railway station makes it a perfect place for a short visit to the city of Madurai.

Pourtant surclassé dans une chambre premium, cet hôtel de luxe au standard indien est franchement défraîchi et aux équipements minimalistes. En revanche un personnel au petit soin notamment au restaurant.

Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée, petit dejeuner buffet avec nombreux plats. Personnel très sympathique. La proximité de la gare fait qu’il y a de nombreux rickshaws disponibles pour se déplacer rapidement en ville.

Royal Court is a decent place to stay. Not a fancy hotel but meets the basic requirement. Breakfast is good. Cleanliness can improve everywhere.

It was a very noisy room. With no rubber seal between the window and the frame the noise level was excruciating. The location was great for the sites to be seen.

This is a standard business hotel that is one block from the railroad station and, thus, very convenient for travelers arriving in and/or departing from Madurai by train. The hotel is also a 10-15 minute walk from Meenakshi Temple, which is nice. Other pluses: the rooms and lobby are attractive, and the breakfast buffet was good. But two negatives. First, the bathroom in the room was in significant need of renovation. The fundamental bathroom facilities all worked, but everything looked like it hadn't been updated in 30 years. Second, the service at the front desk was poor. The hotel did not respond to several emails I sent requesting information in advance of my visit and I got an endless run-around when trying to change money at the front desk ("please wait five minutes" and then, five minutes later, "please come back in an hour" and then, an hour later, "Not today -- our accountant has left for the day.") But if those two concerns are not a problem for you and you are ok with a hotel near the train station, then the Royal Court is fine.

Probably the Royal Court was once an attempt to be a grand hotel with marble floors and fancy entry hall, but now it is just plain sad and dirty. The faucets and the shower were defective, the carpets were all super stained, the front desk staff were grumpy and unhelpful, and the “concierge” could not speak English. We were directed to have breakfast in a dirty conference room, where no one came to help us with table or chairs or silverware or napkins, because the dining hall was full. The mattress was also smelly and there was a major sewer stench in the bathroom. On the good points, the laundry service was fast, same day service for two shirts, we didn’t get sick after having breakfast there and they give us ample amount of bottled water.

Good services by the staff. Breakfast was good. Nice lobby to entertain the guests
