It was an amazing experience in this lovely well maintained Resort in North Bengal. It is well managed and almost every bit of it was perfect over there. Spacious accommodation, well laid cottages, lush green lawns, delicious food and smiling staff. Overall it was a great experience.

We visited Dooars from Kolkata for two days. Altogether six of us (including one child, and three seniors) had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Chalsa, at nature's lap, with all modern amenities, and serene backdrop of hills and clouds. All the special meal requests were taken care of by chef Joydeb and his team, and the reception staff was very friendly. Only drawback, the pick-up and drop-off service from IXB airport was less than satisfactory and outrageously expensive. The driver was not willing to come to the terminus (maybe to avoid paying parking fee) and wanted us to walk for a long distance to the car, which we refused, and that made him unhappy. While dropping, he almost made us miss the flight, dropped the luggage on the floor, and one of the bags broke. All this while we paid 8000 Rs up and down for the transport service.
