The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The common areas made a great first impression, and the service we received was good. Unfortunately, there were several issues with our room that significantly impacted our experience. The bathtub appeared to have a large yellow stain running down it, which looked unclean and was quite off-putting. The shower was also very difficult to use because the water temperature constantly fluctuated between extremely hot and very cold, making it uncomfortable to shower. The biggest issue was a door stopper positioned immediately inside the room near the entrance. It seemed unnecessarily placed and was difficult to notice. I struck my toe on it very hard, causing it to bleed, and I am fairly certain it was broken as a result. This injury had a significant negative impact on the remaining two days of our trip to Ireland. I strongly recommend that the hotel either remove the door stopper or relocate it closer to the wall to prevent future guests from being injured. While the lobby and staff were excellent, the room maintenance and safety concerns unfortunately detracted from what could have been a much better stay.

Genug kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Schönes, großes Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer. Leider hatten wir kaum warmes Wasser, was auch nach einem Reparaturversuch nicht besser wurde. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man unter eiskaltem Wasser duschen muss. Die Decken waren eher zu dick. Klimaanlage hat funktioniert. Teestation mit ein paar Keksen auf dem Zimmer war super. Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Alles was das Herz begehrt. Auf Wunsch wurde frisches Porridge und Pancakes zubereitet. Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum, angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr schöne Bar im Erdgeschoss. Im Pool herrscht Badekappenpflicht (wie überall in Irland), die man sich dort für 3,50€ kaufen kann. Sehr viel Chlor im rechteckigen Pool, keine Liegen, nur ein paar Stühle, nicht sehr gemütlich. Wasser ist warm. Zusätzliche Handtücher gibt es beim Pool. Danke an Margaret, sie war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es gibt auch eine Textilsauna und eine Dampfsauna für Erwachsene ab 16 Jahren. Pool und Sauna schließen um 20.40 Uhr. Das Fitnessstudio hatte leider geschlossen.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a modern hotel which looks good from the outside, but we found it seriously lacking in a number of areas. First, we stayed for three days, but our room was never cleaned at all. I thought it was an oversight after the first night, but the second night the housekeeping staff was again a "no show." We told the front desk, and of course they profusely apologized. But cleaning a hotel room should be automatic each day! Two days in a row of neglect is serious. We also left our tray of used dishes in the hallway, and they stayed there all day. We also found the restaurant to be significantly understaffed. Large groups were in the hotel while we were there, but the wait staff was minimally staffed at best. We waited a long time before even ordering. The food was OK, but again they should have been properly staffed for the amount of guests they had. Management was clearly not prepared for them. One other item: I went down to check out the pool the first night, and it was closed for no apparent reason. All in all, this hotel was a big disapointment.

Definitely worth it!

Mostly clean. Check in and check out was fast and smooth. Ample parking. Ran into poor service in the bistro restaurant, didn’t go back. Five day stay, room refreshed once.

This hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff could not have been nicer! I would stay there anytime!

Showers didn’t work well, fluctuated between hot and freezing every few seconds. Rooms weren’t cleaned when asked. Staff not responsive

We had a 2-day reservation at the Flannery and needed an additional day, but they wanted to charge an additional 50 Euros which was ludicrous. We made a reservation at the Clayton and wished we had stayed there the whole time. It was wonderful and, I think, her name was Lauren who checked up in should get a raise for all her help

Nice conference-style hotel. Clean, easy parking which was a big plus.

We were throughly impressed by the Clayton hotel Galway. Free and abundant parking, easy check in and everything comfortable and available. Convenient location and great AC and strapping that made it comfy. We wish we stayed for longer than just a night. We will be back!

Spacious, clean room.

Breakfast had poor choice of fresh fruit, no potatoes of any kind, cold scrambled eggs and no fried or poached eggs available. The rooms bathtub had been painted to hide some sort of nasty stain, and the water was not hot enough for me. The carpet had a few odd stains. The hair dryer did not work. I will not return.

Séjour de deux nuits. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Légèrement bruyant pour les chambres donnant sur la route.

Room was of decent size and breakfast was excellent. We had a good stay.

Clean room, comfy beds and a friendly staff. Having parking included was a bonus!

Room huge for family with corner balcony. Bathroom his & her sinks. Room spotless with good selection of complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits & water which was replenished. Small fridge in room. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
