The room was very comfortable, clean and we appreciated the electric tea pot, teas and cups. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are separate from the bar and away from the street so you are protected from the noise. We had a glass of wine at the bar before retiring. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance in the bar.

Wanted a room for a single night to break a journey. Could not have chosen better.
Easy check in at the bar and plenty of parking. We were a couple but given a very spacious family room. It was clean with nice bedding and towels.
No food on site but that is reflected in the very reasonable price. Lots of bars and eateries a short walking distance away. The recommemdations made by the host were both great.

Easy check in at the bar and plenty of parking. We were a couple but given a very spacious family room. It was clean with nice bedding and towels.

Great rooms in centre of town with parking right outside. Good value. Breakfast in town .
Fan in bedroom was very noisy so moved to another bigger room above the pub which was great apart from the late night karaoke beneath us /so not much sleep before early departure next morning. Bedrooms in courtyard more peaceful generally

For what it is the hotel is good, my only complaint is the bathroom situation and there not being enough air flow in the room. The staff are great, and I would recommend getting a drink and talking to the locals at the bar.

The room was very clean and it was good to have tea/coffee facilities. It was extremely hot though even with the window wide open. The weather was unusually hot though. Aircon or even a fan would have been good. It was great to have parking though.

Check in was easy. We were early and they held our luggage until we could check in
Room was clean and manageable. Great walk in closet. Bathroom was updated but unfortunately the shower was too hot to use. We didn’t report it first day figuring we were doing something incorrectly. But when it wasn’t any better, we reported it but had a tour to catch. We returned to a brand new functional shower. Well done
Staff were friendly but there’s not much beyond a bartender. No food service and hours of attendance for help aren’t listed. We wanted a wine bucket but the bar didn’t have any. They gave us plenty of ice though in a pitcher. We normally don’t use cleaning staff for short stays…so no comment on that
We would stay there again Location to town is ideal and the walk uphill is great exercise

No ventilation in Room 11 despite one of the windows opening just slightly. This was made worse by the fact that the weather and temperature were extremely warm.

Such a joy to discover this traditional Irish pub with parking outside lovely rooms at the rear. Can't wait to return. The craic in the bar is outstanding - haha!
