Excellent value for money hotel, renovated room, good onsite parking, helpful staff, good onsite free parking, very fast internet, good amenities, good location, though it`s on a one-way street.

Great location and great on site car park, rooms were spot on with tea/coffee facilities, easy smooth check in with great friendly staff, highly recommended place to stay, 5 mins down hill walk to beach front.

A delightful stay. The rooms were quiet and clean. Parking outside apartment. Pub completely wonderful and friendly. Would probably go to Wexford just to stay there again!

Such a joy to discover this traditional Irish pub with parking outside lovely rooms at the rear. Can't wait to return. The craic in the bar is outstanding - haha!

Good value for the money. Rooms are located behind the bar so you don't have to worry about noise. Off street parking available. Main part of town is only a 5 minute walk.

The Room was v.comfortable & spacious. Only let down was no Heating control Switch as to allow Radiator to come on. (Radatior Thermo valve did not do anything). Staff (Lynne & others) we dealt with @ Jims were brilliant. The Pub was curious with all its off shoot rooms & old decor which added to the stay.

Actually pleasantly surprised! our room was at the rear in what looked like a collection of tin roofed huts :) but it proved to be very nice - certainly enough for our 1 night pre- ferry. Warm, functional, nice and clean, shower was good Pub doesn't do food so we walked into the town and had a delicious Thai meal at the Red Elephant- def recommended!!! Then came back to our last Irish Guinesses at the pub - again really good. The pub is quirky with a remarkable collection of old memorabilia. If returning to Wexford I would have no hesitation in coming here again- nothing fancy, but nice♡

I had a very comfortable stay, the room was excellent and well maintained and above all else it was clean and tidy. I had a very good sleep and I have no complaints. If I was to visit again tomorrow would definitely stay here again as the price was value for money.

Jim McGees is a great pub, old school without food, but as a place to stay you could eat elsewhere first then have drinks in the marvellous bar, which has an eclectic array of photographs and posters on its walls which create a very special ambience. The service from the man in charge was perfect; discreet, prompt, courteous. When we retired for the night the room upstairs was surprisingly like something you would find in a smart hotel, the room elegantly and simply decorated, the bed huge with crisp white cotton sheets, incredibly comfortable, a couple of blue velvet chairs at a table with tea and coffee facilities (but you had to place the kettle on the floor to boil it near the socket and it was too big to fill it from the sink so you had to do that using a cup, but these were somehow rather interesting quirks rather than a negative thing, such was our love for the whole experience of Jim McGees. Parking is within the grounds of the establishment which makes it even better. Highly recommended !
