Quiet hotel with good rooms and plenty of dining options in the nearby village

Check-in was easy, the room and bathroom were very clean, albeit dated and worn - but I will take cleanliness over new furniture/fittings. The beds were very comfortable and warm. Lots of hot water. For what we paid, it was decent value for money.

So quiet had a great nights sleep and local bars and food places

Lovely room albeit a little cold at first but was given an electric heater so that was fine. Lovely, friendly staff, loved the location. Lost a star for cleanliness, did not clean rooms properly otherwise we had a lovely stay, would recommend.

Room ok. Could do with updating. Breakfast was ok. Evening food was ok.

Room could have done with a good clean

Staff were amazing . Food was delicious. Parking was easy . Nice warm room on arrival .we stayed in the courtyard. Amazing bath perfect depth for winding the evening away in . Chef was very accommodating of dietary request . All the staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is located in a beautifully tranquil area a welcome from the hustle and bustle of other hotel in Dublin or just outside . So peaceful . We will stay again . Value for money .

Beautiful hotel. The grounds were lovely, long private drive up to the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, bathroom was a bit small but clean and nicely laid out with everything needed to hand. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. We will be going back for a longer stay soon.

The parking was safe and plenty of spaces

Our room wasn't in the main manor, it was in a completely different building. Our room was dirty. There was dirt all along the baseboards, one of the bedside tables had chips, crumbs and cigarettes inside the drawer. They dont allow you to order food and bring to your room. You either eat at the manor or inside another restaurant. No elevator inside the building we were in. Very disappointed

Great hotel in historical building. A lot to see in the small city

Beautiful, well maintained manor. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food at the bar was great, loved the Caesar salad. Room was beautiful and well appointed. Bed was so comfortable, didn't want to get up in the morning. Loved the bathroom! It was large, nicely (classically) decorated, and the rain shower head was great. Would loved to stay again!

El lugar está muy bonito, a 45 mins en autobus del centro de Dublin. Tuvimos un par de temas: una noche mucho ruido en la habitación de al lado, hasta las 4am,y al Siguente nuestra ducha no funcionó. Nos permitieron bañarnos en otra habitación. El personal si muy amable siempre.

The property has two detached sections with somewhat different ambient comparing to the main house that looks appealing. So assuming you booked a room for 2, you will likely be placed in this “not so appealing” rooms. In any case, the property can pass as average for small town standards

Ample parking, room was spacious. Shower did not function well and breakfast was fair.

Friendly service from Jamie at check in, stayed in courtyard room but the bed was not comfortable, usb sockets did not work and the 3 pin plug socket was very slow to charge my phone. Could not charge a second item due to usb socket not working. Felt the price paid was definitely not worth the quality of the room or furnishings for a remote location. The room and bathroom needs modernising, carpet was dirty and was only in room for 10 hrs due to late check in and needing to be out early next day for a commitment. I personally would not choose to stay here again and only booked here as friends had booked this in a package deal but was not my hotel of choice.
