Great find right in the middle of Cortina d’Ampezzo. Handily, it has parking as clearly parking around the town is tricky at times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Would happily stop here again.

The owner was nice and people at The hotel were friendly. The Room was small lacked enough places to store your stuff like a small table for instance. Maybe coming from the US we are used to getting rooms that are much larger. Internet connection was poor very frustrating if you depend on it for communications. Location was good in town close to everything I liked that. However the whole city was a construction zone preparing for the winter olympic 2026.

Excellent location. Staff very service oriented. I had a slow leak in a tire and they found a place to help. We had a problem with internet in our room and they got a new room for us.

Excellent little hotel with eccentric artistic elements in the property. Matilda, at check in, was enormously helpful with arrangements at Rifugio Auronzo, and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, making reservations for us. Lots of construction in Cortina due to the upcoming Olympics, so expect construction cranes everywhere!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ambra Hotel in Cortina and would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous upgrade to the beautiful suite. The interior design, the lobby and cocktail bar are absolutely stunning—elegant, refined, and filled with charming details that create a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was the private jacuzzi. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the breathtaking surroundings of Cortina. A special thank you to Elisabetta Dotto and her team for her kindness and hospitality. Their personal touch made us feel truly welcome and cared for. The staff was equally wonderful—attentive, professional, and always ready to assist. The hotel’s central location is ideal, with everything within walking distance, yet it remains peaceful and quiet. Thank you once again for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning and can highly recommend Ambra Hotel to anyone visiting Cortina.

Very well located in the ce tee of town. The luxury roof room was nice, but just a bit small. Breakfast was excellent and very convenient. Ski room with boot dryer and direct dryer entrance. Highly recommend.

Small but quaint hotel in historic center of Cortina. Initially, we were given the room in first floor next to bar and reception area. We asked to be moved and manager accepted. Room 7 is in the same floor but very tight and small. Not sure if worth the $500 a night we paid. Hotel prides on "luxury and fashion" but this room had none of either. Maybe the rest were nicer? Breakfast is included and highlight of it was Alessandra who cooked great scrambled eggs for us daily. Shout out to Matilda and Alessandra for great hospitality. Nightime reception man was great also being super helpful and nice. Would recommend this boutique hotel if staying as a couple and being in historic center of Cortina a must. Loads of construction in the area which made sleeping late impossible.

Young woman at reception desk was wonderful and very helpful. Only negative was worker repairing floor next to reception desk. It would’ve been nice if he could have stopped drilling while we were talking as it was incredibly annoying and difficult to hear when the receptionist was trying to help us. Overall it was a lovely property with great breakfast.
