Great find right in the middle of Cortina d’Ampezzo. Handily, it has parking as clearly parking around the town is tricky at times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Would happily stop here again.

Excellent location. Staff very service oriented. I had a slow leak in a tire and they found a place to help. We had a problem with internet in our room and they got a new room for us.

The owner was nice and people at The hotel were friendly. The Room was small lacked enough places to store your stuff like a small table for instance. Maybe coming from the US we are used to getting rooms that are much larger. Internet connection was poor very frustrating if you depend on it for communications. Location was good in town close to everything I liked that. However the whole city was a construction zone preparing for the winter olympic 2026.

Excellent little hotel with eccentric artistic elements in the property. Matilda, at check in, was enormously helpful with arrangements at Rifugio Auronzo, and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, making reservations for us. Lots of construction in Cortina due to the upcoming Olympics, so expect construction cranes everywhere!

Small but quaint hotel in historic center of Cortina. Initially, we were given the room in first floor next to bar and reception area. We asked to be moved and manager accepted. Room 7 is in the same floor but very tight and small. Not sure if worth the $500 a night we paid. Hotel prides on "luxury and fashion" but this room had none of either. Maybe the rest were nicer? Breakfast is included and highlight of it was Alessandra who cooked great scrambled eggs for us daily. Shout out to Matilda and Alessandra for great hospitality. Nightime reception man was great also being super helpful and nice. Would recommend this boutique hotel if staying as a couple and being in historic center of Cortina a must. Loads of construction in the area which made sleeping late impossible.

Young woman at reception desk was wonderful and very helpful. Only negative was worker repairing floor next to reception desk. It would’ve been nice if he could have stopped drilling while we were talking as it was incredibly annoying and difficult to hear when the receptionist was trying to help us. Overall it was a lovely property with great breakfast.

Ambra Hotel is simply wonderful! A beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Cortina! Shopping, dining and any ski need is all within a short walking distance. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and no expense was spared in the remodeling / building. The staff are very attentive! You must stop and have Matteo, the “mixologist”, prepare a drink for you. He is quite skilled and shares fun stories. Bottom line, it’s a must-stay when visiting Cortina d’ Ampezzo. They have a sister property in Venice as well that we will have to explore on our next visit to Italy.

Second time we have stayed here. It is without doubt one of our best stays. Free drink on arrival and free bottle of wine in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely an outstanding property with great staff.

The rooms in this hotel are small but with beautiful decor and every amenity. You can tell a lot of thought was put into its design. Loved the breakfast - everything from the delicious variety to the beautiful dishes it was served on. The only drawback is the unfortunate construction going on all around right now.
