Worst Hotel ever—Do not stay here! My recent stay at Pinewood Hotel near Rome was an absolute nightmare that I hope no traveler will have to experience. This so-called “four-star” hotel will be without a doubt a complete disappointment and potential tourist trap. 🌐 INTERNET DISASTER: The hotel’s internet connection was never available throughout our entire stay. In today’s online connected world, being forced into digital isolation is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to be a four-star establishment. 🚕 TRANSPORTATION SCAM AND DISASTER: The most alarming issue was their taxi arrangement to the airport. When we requested airport transportation from the front desk, the nearly-elderly man provided us with an UNLICENSED taxi driver. Not only was the price exorbitant, but the driver was also late, causing us to miss our flight. In fact, our family lost more than 3,500 US dollars due to this catastrophic service. This is not just poor service - it’s potentially dangerous and misleading. 💡 CRITICAL WARNINGS: • Completely unreliable internet service • Untrustworthy transportation arrangements • Misleading star rating • Potential safety concerns with unauthorized transportation BOTTOM LINE: Save yourself the stress, money, and potential travel disruptions. AVOID Pinewood Hotel at all costs! There are countless better, more reliable accommodations near Rome that will actually respect your time and money. Travelers, consider this your official warn

レトロな雰囲気で良かったです。

少しローマの中心地から離れてはいますが、地下鉄に乗ればすぐです。

四つ星として考えると、やや期待はずれです。部屋は狭く、設備の説明にあったミニバーもありませんでした。

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut, ein Bus bleibt direkt vor dem Hotel stehen. Die Metro 5 Min zufuß entfernt. Es gibt einen gesicherten Parkplatz, das Auto kann also umzäunt abgestellt werden, ohne dass wir zusätzliche Gebühren gezahlt haben. Der Service ist super, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die tägliche Reinigung lief hervorragend. Das inkludierte Frühstück war auch gut, von Müsli über Rühreier war alles dabei. Das Hotel ist etwas älter und sehr hellhörig, was uns leider nie ausschlafen lies, aber mit Ohrstöpseln lässt sich das regeln. Sauberkeit war gegeben und hatten nichts daran auszusetzen.

Nice hotel with very friendly reception staff who could not do enough to assist. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. View from balcony was quite nice, the decor is very rustic Italian which we didn't mind. There was an excellent selection for breakfast and there will be something for everyone. Cornelia metro station is a 10 minute walk away and there are plenty of taxis but make sure you check the fare before you set off. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel excelente, confortável, café da manhã muito bom, mas longe do centro. Tem que pegar ônibus (estação a 2 min andando) ou metrô (estação a 10min andando).

The air conditioner need to be clean because it's mas very dirty. The bathtub is necessary to change because is very slippery.

Hotel room very clean

This is the most terrible hotel I have in my life. 1- the smell of smoking was everywhere in the room in the first day. Although it said No smoking. there was a smoking butt in the room 2- The receptionist was rude and didn't know how to speak English 3-There was an extra step inside the room which is very risky to slip on. My little kid slipped 4 times in it. 4- the Bathroom lock was broken 5-they turned off the AC overnight and we didn't know until the second day when we noticed that the room is very humid 6- the furniture was broken and very dirty outside in the balcony 7- every time I asked something from the receptionist, or complaint about something, they said you can contact Expedia and get a refund Overall, my experience at this hotel was a total disaster. From the run-down facilities to the unhelpful staff, everything about my stay was subpar. It's a shame that what was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable trip turned into a nightmare thanks to this poorly managed hotel. Needless to say, I will never be staying there again, and I urge others to steer clear of this establishment if they value a comfortable and pleasant hotel experience I have pictures for all this, but I don't know how to share them

Las habitaciones súper pequeñas, la ubicación fatal, las camas más duras que una piedra, los conectores sin funcionar, el refrigerador tampoco funcionaba, y en el baño el agua se escurría de la regadera, dejando inundado todo el piso. Este hotel hizo que nuestro viaje soñado a Roma fuera mucho menos agradable ya que en lugar de querer llegar en la noche al hotel a descansar, preferíamos seguir en la calle y no estar ahí. Es preferible que clausuren un hotel así de malo y descuidado.

Excellent customer service, clean rooms, beautiful hotel. I love my stay! Highly recommend.

Price for room per night was good, presentation needs a lot of work, of all the places I stayed between Zurich and Rome, this place had the highest city tax per night.
