IF YOU HOPE TO HAVE EVEN BASIC HOTEL SERVICE EXPECTATIONS MET (TOILET PAPER, TOWELS, TRASH REMOVAL, RELATIVELY PROMPT COMMUNICATION WITH STAFF), YOU WILL WANT TO STAY ELSEWHERE. Rooms/space - ground entrance to hotel is dingy, unkept, and not secure. The hotel and rooms on the second level are essentially tenants of a larger building. The hotel attendants who are only very rarely at the reception desk assured me the front door of the building remained closed throughout the day and evening - I never found that to be the case. Front door was always open to the street and reception desk was unattended 95% of the time during our stay. Our guest room was generally well appointed except for a gross discolored white carpet in the room. Service - communication via WhatsApp was good leading up to trip. I was aware they don’t staff the reception desk 24h and they gave me a rough schedule for front desk staffing: about 9am - break for lunch, then back at the desk until 9ish. For any requests outside of those hours, I was told to simply send a WhatsApp message. In reality, no one is ever at the desk and no one responds to WhatsApp messages in any timely way. I would message to ask why our trash had not been taken out or why our used espresso cups/spoons had not been replaced, but no response. It was impossible to have toilet paper and towels replenished so much so that I had to raid a utility bathroom behind the reception for half used rolls of toilet paper - what a joke.

De AC kon niet op koelen gezet worden, ondanks dat het buiten 27 gr was. De receptionist (te bereiken via whatsapp) raadde aan om geen ventilatie aan te zetten omdat het anders te warm zou worden. De lange smalle kamer heeft slechts 1 klein raam dat uitkijkt op een smalle koker, als gevolg kon de kamer niet verlucht worden, het was warmer binnen dan buiten, en de kamer was ook overdag volledig donker. Bovendien waren de lakens te klein. DUs na een nacht werden we wakker op een blote matras en een deken zonder lakens wat ik gewoon degoutant vind. Absoluut geen aanrader!

Staff was very welcoming, rooms were clean, hotel was walking distance to most of the monuments. Only thing that could have been better is having our own control of the thermostat and are control as the room was very stuffy.

Otelin konumu çok iyiydi her yere kolayca yürüdük. İlk vardığımızda bize verilen oda fotoğraflardakinden çok daha küçük bir odaydı, 2 bavul açacak yer bile yoktu bu durumu söylediğimizde bize ertesi gün daha büyük bir oda verebileceklerini söyledikler ve ve fotoğraftaki odalardan birini verdiler. Onun dışında resepsiyondaki kişi bize güzel mekan önerileri verdi. İnterneti gayet hızlıydı. Memnun kaldık

Excellent location but hotel looks tired. Needs good signage. Staff are really nice!

Lite svårt att hitta men det är bara att fråga på restaurangerna på gatan. Fräsch och rummet var bra. Luftkonditioneringen finns men var ej så varmt när jag besökte hotellet, var bara att öppna fönstret och vädra. Personal var trevliga.

O quarto estava impecável! A equipe toda empenhada em tornar nossa estadia maravilhosa, principalmente Maria e Roxana! Como a recepção fica no primeiro andar a noite não é tão fácil de encontrar uma porta verde medieval logo depois da esquina.

Beautiful old building, great location and very confortable room, spacious bathroom. Definitely worth every penny, highly recommended, the staff was amazing. Only draw back, no elevator and you have to carry your bags 1 flight. Also, make sure the cab leaves you in the corner of Av Corso, otherwise is a long walk over old pavers.

We had an excellent 2-night stay at The Couper Umiltà, made truly special by the outstanding service from the reception team — especially Martina. She went above and beyond to be kind, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful towards my son, which meant a lot to us and really stood out. Her warmth and professionalism are a real credit to the hotel. Despite non-stop rain during our stay, the hotel’s very central location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go, with the Colosseum only about a 20-minute walk away. The only minor downsides were that there is no lift (stairs only, so not ideal for those with mobility needs) and there was no safe in the room. Overall, a wonderful stay thanks to exceptional staff and a great location — we would definitely return.

Great location - our window overlooked via del Corso! Only downfall was no lift and we were on the 2nd floor with 5 heavy suitcases. The hotel staff did take everything up and down but would’ve been easier with a lift.

Las muchachas de la recepción son muy amables. La habitación del hotel muy bonita, limpia, cómoda. Cerca de las estaciones de metro caminando, buses. Bien comunicada. A pie se recorre muy fácilmente los principales monumentos, muy cerca.

늦은시간에 체크인 하러갔는데 직원분이 친절히 응대해 주셔서 서비스가 너무좋았어요!! 숙소도 청결하고 근처에 가게 방문하기도 위치가 너무좋았습니다!! 단점이라면 캐리어가지고 중심가로 이동해야되므로 교통편을 이용하지 않으면 힘들것같아요 ㅜㅜ 어메니티가 슬리퍼나 칫솔은 없고 옷 보관할 공간이 좀 작아서 불편했던 그거는 없는것 같네요 ㅎㅎ

I had an amazing stay at The Couper Hotel in Rome! The location is excellent! walking distance to all the main attractions, steps from fontana de trevi, Parthenon, restaurants, and cafés. The room was spacious, modern, and super clean, with great attention to detail. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!
