京都大学近くで、公共交通機関でのアクセスも便利、落ち着いた環境も良かったです！ また使います！

とても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。 ベッドも広く、写真よりも過ごしていて部屋か全体的に広く感じました。

スタッフが親切丁寧で何の不安もなかった

夜中の到着でしたが、２４時間対応で安心してむかいました。 新しい施設で、写真の印象以上に部屋も広くきれい。 素晴らしい部屋でした。 家族も大喜びです。京都の滞在にはとても素敵なホテルを見つけました。

Maybe it’s their weird door lock system, but the whole place lack welcoming human touch and I felt like it was run by a robot.

Overall it was great. It'll be better if there's a tea towel so that I could wipe the table or dry the dishes. 😅

This is a great little hotel conveniently located near Sanjo station and an easy walk to many downtown locations. It is also close to the river pathway and not too far from great hiking in the nearby hills. The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. It is nice to have the kitchenette for prepping snacks and other food. The staff is very nice and speak enough English to communicate adequately. The rooms are well kept and a good size with plenty of room to move around and store your things. One note: Make sure you follow the instructions provided by the hotel on how to find the building. I forgot to bring them and it is not marked properly on Google Maps and I spent 30 minutes wandering around trying to find it.

I loved the location, room, helpful staff, and use of a phone with wi-fi while we stayed in Kyoto! Everyone who worked at Akari was EXTREMELY helpful. I would highly recommend staying here to everyone! I hope I can stay here again the next time I go to Kyoto!

Room was spacious and new. Host provided us a free mobile phone with free Internet service and 30mins free mobile hotspot. We could take the phone with us on the duration of the trip. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry was easy to use and the hotel provided detergent. Hotel did not offer check bag after we checked out. What we didn't like was one day the cleaning staff just came in the room without knocking. He unlocked the door with the 4 digit pin and walked in the room without introduction or knocking. I was still in my underwear. I asked if he needed any help and he said he just came in to look at the bamboo mat. He took a look after walking in and then left. At the time we didn't even know who he was. He didn't introduce himself nor did he just leave immediately.

Great! My friends and I all agreed that AKARI Higashiyama Nijo had provided everything we needed for a great stay in Kyoto! Convenient location, close to stations and bus stops, and Fresco (we bought eggs, toasts and fruits to make breakfast, and the apartment is equipped with a kitchen). Walking distance to Pontocho alley, nishiki market etc. AKARI Higashiyama Nijo is a fairly new establishment, everything is sooo clean. Staff can speak English pretty well, so we had no problem communicating, we were pretty late for check in for our first night (after midnight) and messaged them prior to confirm our stay and got a response very quickly. 24 hour front desk is a plus! Free toiletries, comfy bed, fabric freshener, lint remover, oh man, this place is too good for the price they ask for. Definitely will book again when I go back to Kyoto :) ohhhh and they have a smart phone device by the side of bed which you can use to look up places to visit/eat, and make phone calls for free!
