Bright Hotel Kiyomizu

キッチンがあるのにテーブルが狭い(テレビがのっているので使えない)椅子が1脚のみ、食べる場所がない。 タオル等のかかる場所がない。

ちょうどいい位置にあり、どこに行くにも動きやすかったです。ぜひまた利用したいです。

I booked this hotel some months ago and I started reading reviews prior to check in. I'll admit I got a bit nervous. That being said we decided to stay the night and try it out. First impressions were that there was more space than many rooms we've stayed in while in Japan. Many features look newish and it has a full kitchen. Then things get weird. The wall paper is peeling off. There's a persistent bad smell. There's roach traps everywhere. I tried to shower and the shower nozzle fell off. My husband tried to leave to do a Lawson run and the latch on the lock fell off. The beds were surprisingly comfortable but it's also loud in the morning with people talking in the alleyway. It was fine for the night but I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean, cosy room. Great amenities. Quite non-descript building but I slept like a baby so got to rate it highly!

Clean and tidy

The location of the hotel is perfect! The room itself is very nice. However, there was never any staff at the front desk. We were emailed a manual on how to use the washing machine, but our machine was different than in the manual, and it was difficult to figure it out. Also, the water in the shower was hard to figure out. There were no instructions on that, and once we figured out how it worked, we never figured out how to get warm water, so we had to shower with cool water the whole time we were there.

No staff. You are given code to get in. 16:00 is the check in time with very early check out time at 10:00.

Useless remote reception.

Good location

The room and the check in was really nice and spacious, but to use hot water you have to put in a number into a special device next to the shower which was confusing for someone who is not used to something like that, so a small note would have been nice. All in all the passcode with the door was always easy to use! Also the window to the room was kind of cold and we didnt know how to properly close it but it was not as bad.

The hotel is extremely dirty. There are pinworm infection. My entire ankle is swollen. Hotel should do a major cleaning before it open for business again.

It was so comfortable staying at this place. Our room has laundry so it made easier our staying. It was a surprise noticing that there is a self check place so there is not a reception desk as well. Be careful if you use a local transport for your luggage.

Nice, silent, clean. No window view, however, comfortable. The rest room is large enough, clean and tidy, very good. Very nice expenience. Self check in check out is new experience to me, however very easy and smooth. Just need to make sure you pay attention on the emails hotel sent to you, then everything will be smooth and easy. The location is not far from station, and near the famous sight, good choice for Kyoto trip.

The little apartment is a nice size and very clean. Great location too. Be aware there is no staff. You check yourself in and out using a tablet and email codes they send you. There is no cleaning, or towel changes, or garbage removal. Annoying but not the end of the world. The real problem was the beds. Possibly the least comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Actually debated sleeping on the floor.

The beds and pillows were very firm and the construction taking place next door was very noisy.

Practical place if you want to stay in the Kiyomizu-area, otherwise quite expensive for a staffless apartment-hotel. The previous tenant had left boxes in the closet and the beds were fold-up beds and not very sturdy. The window had no soundproofing, so you could hear every insect and pedestrian and car from outside, however nothing from the rest of the building. It was quite a walk from the nearest train-stop, and the check-in time of 16:00 made it very difficult to enjoy the day as we had our luggage to haul around (since there was no staff, no coinlockers or self-check baggage area in the "hotel"). I would only recommend this hotel if you are desperate for a room, because it was moderately clean.

Super clean and cosy room. The bathroom was nice and spacious and there was a small kitchen. However appliances had some faults. The TV weirdly turned on in the middle of the night and there was a strange light flashing behind it. There was also this constant ticking (we think it was the door) as well as it sounded what was like a possum in the wall.

The unit is closed to Kiyomizu dera and is a 12 mins walk from Kiehan Kiyomizu-Gojō Station. The unit is very small and is a challenge to store 2 checked luggage. Also, the toilet seat and bathroom are shared. There will be an extra charge tor early check-in but you can arrange with them for luggage dropoff to your room and come back later for check-in when the room is ready. This is very helpful to us as we arrive Kyoto at 12pm and can dropoff our luggage to the room and go out for sightseeing and then come back after dinner for the check-in.

기요미즈데라가 굉장히 가까움

地點方便，乘206號巴士於馬町站落車，直行見到Lawson便利商店後，過對面馬路，行多1分鐘便到達。整潔乾淨，跟提供的相片一樣。員工有禮貌，非常幫手。直得推薦。但這是一間小型酒店，有些像是一間住宅，以前住大酒店，可能會不習慣。
