Very disappointing stay The hotel is still under renovation, and many facilities are either not working or only partially available (pool, spa, etc.). The jacuzzi is especially disappointing: the water pressure is so weak you can barely tell if it’s on, and worse, there are sharp edges that could easily cause injury. The pool itself was also an issue, the water didn’t look clean, with visible debris floating in it, which is not acceptable. The room was decent overall, but the mattress was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced, far too soft, making it impossible to sleep properly. On top of that, the air conditioning is very loud, and the night mode doesn’t seem to work. Overall, a big disappointment, especially considering the expectations.

Beautiful new hotel with great breakfast and parking. Reception staff was incredible, very caring and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. There were a lot of roadworks around Gozo so that was a challenge with such narrow streets, but hotel was well located we managed to drive everywhere and reception staff provided us with maps and tips to find good parking around the island. The spa is not open yet but looks amazing so far. We had issues in the pool with my friends’ getting a skin rash and their swimsuit ending up bleached, we made reception aware and were appropriately compensated. Overall it’s a good place to stay with caring staff

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Das Restaurant Olive, welches zum Hotel gehört, serviert sehr leckeres Essen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war recht vielseitig, frisch und gut umsorgt. Das Personal war freundlich. Das einzige, was zu bemängeln war, ist, dass unsere Bikinis sich im Wellnessbereich aufgrund der Chemikalien verfärbt haben. Unsere Rückmeldung dazu an der Rezeption wurde lediglich zur Kenntnis genommen.

Our room was exceptionally spacious with a mini-fridge, large comfortable bed with soft pillows. We were provided with a large TV with numerous channels, Youtube and Netflix. We sunbathed in a nice area surrounding a small pool. There was also a nice internal pool and spa. A rooftop pool was under construction and I assume would be open to guests in the coming months. The breakdast was pretty good with varied options. The staff were polite and attentive. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the harbour where there were a variety of restaurants, some with great sea views. The hotel has only recently been built and all the fixtures and fittings are in brand new condition.

A shout-out to the hardworking and friendly staff, especially Alex and Sabana at the front desk, who are always smiling and happy to help in every way possible. It's a new facility, so they are still addressing some mechanical issues, but they are eager to improve and welcome feedback from guests. Great location close to the water with plenty of dining options and a convenient bus stop for exploring other parts of Gozo. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Mooi hotel vriendelijke service …afwerking kan beter …mbt isolatie , losse tegels enzo …wij waren daar in november en dus kalmer …indien hoog seizoen hoor je echt alles van de naburige kamers ..zwembad en dak zwembad zag er altijd rommelig uit en niet opgeruimd ..dat was spijtig …ondanks dit waren we over het algemeen zeer tevreden

I highly recommend a stay here! Nice, clean rooms and the view over the landscape from the rooftop pool is amazing. The stuff is so helpful! When I had a addiction for choclate in the middle of the night and the supermarkets was not open the girl in the reception offered me her private Kit Kat. So sweet! The village where the hotel is are very nice and you can walk to several interesting sights. Do not miss this place! It has very good vibes!

Riktigt fint hotell, med stora rymliga rum, där var 4 riktigta sängar i familjerummet (inte bäddsoffa som många andra erbjuder). 2 poolområden båda var riktigt fina. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell och ett besök på Gozo

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war in diesem Jahr unser (Taucher) 2ter Aufenthalt dort, wir waren erneut sehr zufrieden. Dennoch wäre es schön, wenn bis zu unserem nächsten Aufenthalt, das Spa fertiggestellt und die noch offenen Punkte im Gebäude abgeschlossen sind. Unser Fazit, sehr gerne wieder!

Gutes Hotel

A very new hotel in a great location. 2 minutes walk to a small beach and the harbour with cafes, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is of a very high quality with a stunning (if cold) rooftop pool and a smaller second pool on the 3rd floor which was wonderfully sheltered when the weather was windy. There was plenty of seating/loungers at both pools. We didn't dine in the restaurant but we did have drinks and snacks which were lovely and all very reasonably priced. The room was extremely comfortable, well equipped and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. The highlight of our stay were the staff. Particularly Michealle who went out of her way to provide excellent customer service. It my husband's birthday and she made sure he had lots of lovely treats and surprises.

Newly opened so everything works well and looks good. Bathrooms do not have ventilation so it gets pretty steamy after a shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out.

The pool area was beautiful, room good, although the village of Marsalforn a little tired and run down, Overall an interesting place to visit.

The moment we walked into the hotel, the staff had been very welcoming, and so was the hotel interior. It is quite new and looked beautiful inside. It’s a short walk to the beach and restaurants although the hotel has its own (we weren’t able to try the restaurant due to time limitations but had really good food at the rooftop bar). The room was very spacious, extremely clean and bright. The fixtures were modern. It had a minimalist vibe which we liked. The bathroom was beautiful, had the usual amenities but with added hair conditioner which was not typical of hotels, even pricey ones. The hotel had two pools, our favourite was the rooftop pool where you had beautiful 360 degree views of the area, including the sea. There was a bar which served lovely food at a reasonable price. All the staff in the hotel had a ready smile every time we met them and were very helpful with any questions we had. As we were also visiting Valetta, we only stayed 2 nights in the hotel which we now regret, as it was the best hotel out of the three we stayed in while in Malta. If we ever come back, we are staying at The Reef Hotel for sure.

A fantastic stay with far superior room amenities than I expected. 2 minutes from the beach and within easy taxi travel (Bolt Taxis) of the port.
