Staff was not helpful at all

La habitacion esta muy chica pero limpia, y no tiene ventanas, el staff muy servicial y amable, ubicación buena

The best hotel in town!!

Property should advised future occupants that parking is offsite the property and you have to have someone to go with you to either take out or in your vehicle. We had a few issues.. no toilet paper when we arrived, we needed new towels , not shampoo. I when to the front desk and they could not resolved the issue. They said to wait to the next crew that comes in at 11pm. Unbelievable. It was a pain in the neck to park your car offsite the property.

Nice stay, everything good

Our plans changed and we needed to depart a few days early. As stated in Expedia and on the hotelʻs website no refunds/returns are provided. Lesson learned Iʻll be careful to review such policies in future bookings. Noise. Street noise was surprisingly minimal. But at 11:36 pm during my stay I told the desk clerk it was hard to sleep with his radio or podcast playing. He turned it down but not off…used it on subsequent nights too. Hotel/kitchen staff seemingly arrive around 0700 each morning. They converse and soon after the restaurant opens making it difficult to sleep any later. Restaurant food/service was ok on our first morning but we elected to eat elsewhere the following days. Was a convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. My bus arrived in Oaxaca after midnight and this hotel doesnʻt allow checkins after that time so I had stayed in another hotel my first night. Then transferred to this one. If returning to Oaxaca Iʻd choose the other hotel over this one.

Easy to get around.

The hotels entrance and patio are the only attractive parts of this property. The rooms had no windows or fresh airflow. They were musky and damp until the A/C was turned on. The beds were rundown and only dressed with a fitted sheets and a comforter. Pillows were thin and uncomfortable. We used t-shirts on them as they did not look clean. The towels were old and shabby, we reported a broken toilet lid and clogged sink and was never fixed for the full stay, housekeeping was limited to only a wipe down and turndown service. Dirty mugs were in one room on day 1. Of the 4 rooms each had individual issues with water pressure and water temperature. The food at the restaurant had very a limited menu and not worth it. The roof deck was never open or offered an explanation of it being locked. Management did very little to make us feel welcome as opposed to the staff who were more interactive and pleasant.

We loved this understated well appointed hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We would have like more towels.

Helt ok hotel, men få som kunne engelsk så lite hjelp å få i resepsjonen. rom mot gaten betyr mye støy.

Alt har været meget godt. Et rigtigt behageligt og hyggeligt ophold. Det er vores anden gang i Hotel Casa Las Mercedes og det bliver ikke den sidste. Mange tak til den venlige personale.

Muy bonito el hotel, cerca del centro, muy amable el personal, muy buena la comida

Excelente opción ubicada a unos pasos del centro pero lejos del ruido. Nosotras no llevamos auto pero es muy seguro para moverse caminando a todos los puntos importantes de la zona, aún en la noche (dos mujeres solas). La limpieza y mantenimiento del lugar son excelentes, cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle en todo momento. Pensamos que sería un hotel más básico, pero la habitación Jr Suite es muy amplia y con todo lo necesario como caja de seguridad, cafetera con cápsulas, botellas de agua que resurten diariamente, aire acondicionado, el agua de la regadera con muy buena presión y temperatura, además de que este tipo de habitación tiene dos buenas ventanas. Las camas son bastante cómodas y todo está perfecto para descansar. Tomamos desayuno en su restaurante varias veces y todo estuvo delicioso y a muy buen precio, funciona desde antes de las 7:30am y nos quedaba perfecto para salir temprano a algunos tours. Importante destacar la amabilidad y excelente atención y servicio de todo el personal. Todo estuvo genial y definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Very helpful staff, great location. Convenient restaurant on premises and an excellent coffee shop across the street. Bed is hard, and it gets noisy at 7:00 a.m. when the kitchen staff starts talking loudly in the courtyard and the sound echoes off all the tile floors and walls. (Maybe the upper floor would be quieter.)

Hotel location was not far from square, great coffee and breakfast at Rustico restaurant very close to thr hotel, also awesome pizza. More noise than we like

Pros -Close but not too close to Zocalo -Our room (205) was quiet and well appointed, comfortable bed -Nice courtyard good for breakfast, excellent coffee -Very responsive and accommodating staff -Reasonable rates Cons -Key card had to be swiped up to six times to unlock door -No windows (so no natural ventilation) -Air conditioner VERY noisy -Bathroom plumbing leaked everywhere and lighting too dim -Laundry service took 24 hours more than promised
