I absolutely loved my stay at This Hostel in Amsterdam. The pod-style setup was perfect. Great privacy, and although the space is small, it’s exactly as advertised. The photos are completely accurate, and the value for the price is fantastic. The location is amazing, right near everywhere you’d want to be. There are tons of great food spots, nightlife, and dessert places all around, which made it super convenient and fun to explore the city. The shared bathrooms are very nice and well-maintained. The only minor downside is that they can sometimes smell a bit moldy due to the sinks leaking slightly, but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bag storage is free, and they even let us check in hours early at no extra charge. There’s also a bar and a full restaurant downstairs in the hostel, which was awesome. Overall, an amazing experience with absolutely no real complaints. I would 100% stay here again, 10/10.

一つの部屋を普通にイメージするとじっさいにへやをみたときにがっかりどがおおきいです。一つの部屋を上下に二つに区切って2部屋にしたということです。駅に近いこと、清潔であることは大きなメリットです。　寝るだけと考えたら利用価値大です。部屋でくつろぐとなると空間が狭すぎて大変です。

La habitación resulta demasiado pequeña, se debe realmente considerar si sufres claustrofobia y el baño no cumplió con los estándares de limpieza esperados, presentando además un olor poco agradable. Considero que sería necesario mejorar estos aspectos para ofrecer una mejor experiencia

Our overall stay was satisfactory, and while the room was indeed very small, we were aware that this is part of the hotel’s concept, so this aspect met our expectations. However, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. We found hair along the sides of the bed, visible dust, and—most concerning—an empty condom wrapper next to the mattress. This raised questions about whether any cleaning had been carried out beyond changing the sheets. We reported the issue to the front desk, but unfortunately no solution or gesture of goodwill has been offered to us so far. (Update if the hotel provides a response.) Apart from this, the common areas were generally in acceptable condition, and the breakfast selection was sufficient for our needs.

Great choice if you're looking for a more cost effective option to a full hotel room, but dont wish to wish to share a dorm style room. The cubes were surprisingly quiet and the bed comfortable.

While towels were replace everyday in the bathroom, the shower stalls smelled bad and were not clean with locks broken and soap missing. The capsule beds themselves were quite okay. The challenging part trying to sleep when there’s a bar on the ground floor playing loud music with a strong base and other guests making a lot of noise and playing music until late evening.

This is a good option for a night or two. It's a pretty cramped space for two people. We were on the basement level - which is the storage for cleaning and restaurant supplies. That's not a big deal, but the issue is the staff forgetting that people are sleeping. We were woken up around 12am by very loud voices in the hallway. The shared bathroom has a good layout, we didn't feel cramped - but we were also up super early to catch a train. It was clean every time we used them. Didn't use the shower but did check it out. There was at least one broken shelf in each stall and no hooks for your towel or clothes....and you can't put them on a shelf to keep dry because they're broken. The staff were very helpful when we checked in, and we were able to leave our luggage there until our room was ready.

Cube with canal view. Definitely worth the couple extra dollars. Bed was comfortable. It would be great to have a small chair or stool in the room. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right on the Dam by Amsterdam Central station.

The proposal of this accommodation is very cool. The bedding, and the structure of the room, although small, meet what is necessary for a trip of a few days. The biggest problem of this accommodation is the bathroom: it is not cleaned according to the scheduled times, in the shower part there is a strong smell of sewage and there is a lack of maintenance. There is no shampoo and soap as they say in the ad. But the location is perfect. We did everything on foot. This is the best thing about hosting.
