ウェンディはとても感じ良い人で、ロトルアの見どころを教えてくれ、ワイトモの土ボタルの予約を取るのを手伝ってくれました。 40度の温泉があり、オフシーズンなのでゆったりと入ることが出来ました。近くにモールやスーパーがあり町にも近いので便利でした。

2連泊しました。 チェックイン時に水着を持っているのか聞かれ、持っていないと答えると、個室になっている温泉があるから、良かったら入ってと教えてくれました。 他にも部屋を案内してくれた時に、テレビリモコンの使い方を説明してくれたり、チェックアウトする時間が早いがどうしたらいいか聞いた時に、バスで移動すると伝えると、バス停まで車で送ってくれました。 これはとても助かりました。 周辺も静かでゆっくり寝られます。 出かけるときに出会うとその度に声もかけてくれます。 1泊目にキッチンを使いましたが、皿洗い用のタオルなどもきちんと乾燥された清潔な物に取り換えられています。 バスタオルも新しい物が置いてありました。 とにかくここのマダムのホスピタリティに感激です。 また泊まりたいです。

The room is clean! But the shower head

Moderate toxic fumes issue. Other than that not too bad. Stayed in room #2. Evacuated the first night, tolerated the next two. 3 nights in early-November 2025. Negatives: The Hydrogen Sulfide aromas of the city seemed stronger right in the parking area leading to the unit in which I was staying. As if there was a source close by. All of the major geysers & vents on the maps are located about 1-1.5km away. I walked to many of them. However, why it seemed just as bad as being close to a source as here, I don't know. This was a major issue causing me to wake up on the first night after an hour of sleep with nausea, headache, & mild dizziness which caused a panic attack forcing me to evac & sleep in the car 10km away. Also, not too convenient to have to check-in at the ambassador motel (located closer to major discharge areas & yet doesn't stink as much). The towels were half clean & wrinkly, like they were poorly air dried outside. The room was physically hot from water heater system being on at arrival. Also, the next door unit #3 adjoining entire wall was hot like body temperature throughout the stay. Positives: Room was gigantic (1 bedroom apartment) It was quiet & mostly clean. Full size kitchen w/ all the plates, pans, glasses, & silverware. Water was instant hot. Bathroom had full amenities. Skylight provided natural light. The Heat pump cooled the room nicely (which it always needed to be). Check-out was easy, leave the key card in the room.

There was loud rumbling at night, like water being pumped.Little sleep. Never worked out where it was coming from. Check in host was very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Appreciated swimming pool after 18km hike!! Spa dilapidated. Area needs simple tidy up but we would stay there again as we were well satisfied.

Checked in late after 8pm however the gentleman whom checked me in was very polite. Having to go to another address to check in was the only issue. Perhaps I should have asked to have the directions written down instead. Accommodation was very clean and quiet. Thank you very much. S Raerino

Very basic accommodations but service was good.

The room was located at the back of the property, we needed walking through the garbage area to get in the room

Single bed in front room, very bright at night security lights on outside all night no curtains on door or window above door. Very spacious. Kitchen had full sized fridge/freezer.

Was quiet and clean, staff helpful. Overall unit was basic in commodities and could do with upgrading. Did not like the outdoor light which was very bright, lit up the unit all night through glass door.

great-close to town. very clean. great linen and cleaning service. not so great- power sockets not working, exhaust fans not working, very outdated furniture, bleak and a paint over is not a renovation. no on-site laundry.

On a winters day it was the warmth of the unit that impressed my most, sooo comfortable - and I could adjust the thermostat if wanted. Everything I needed was there, I slept well, car parked right outside, couldn't hear the neighbours and for the first time I experienced Netflix, so did a binge watch. Fridge even had a freezer. Although dated, it was very clean which was one of my main wants and all facilities normally used for basic needs were there. It was a great base for a couple of days of peace and relaxation. Didn’t actually stay at Fernleaf, was offered an “upgrade” at Ambassador Thermal Motel when collecting key. Perhaps the Fernleaf might have been better, although it was very convenient for town and eateries.

Room was spacious and tidy especially for price. I assume it was shared hot water and the hot water was all gone when I went to use it. Having to go to another location a few km away for check in is also a bit inconvenient. Surely a there must be a better option. Digital check in?

Happy with the room need to uograde tv and what can be watched bed was excellent lovely sleep didnt like we couldnt use the backdoor as it was locked but overall would stay again
