カスコ・ビュー・アパートメント

The building is great, the apartment was perfect, the staff superbe, and they take care of the building, guests and security. There is a supermarket across the street which makes your life so much easier. The issue, as others have mentioned, is that the building is at the limit of the safe area in the neighborhoods near the casco viejo. There is also a soccer field and some type of local dancing that are always playing something and very loud (obviously Casco View has no control over this). There is public pool one block way if you would like to do laps as the pool in the building is very small. We really enjoyed our stay despite the noise and the location. The walk to the Casco Viejo is manageable, just make sure you have a good hat and water as the humidity will run you down very fast. Lots to see, eat and shop.

Always an amazing stay

Room was clean, AC was powerful, kitchen was well equipped, and the balcony had a little seating area where we dried swimwear. The pool was lovely and the common area is comfy. The only issue I had was the lack of communication with the staff, they read all of our messages but hardly responded. We had to venture down to get our questions answered. Another thing to note, if you’re nervous about slightly sketchy neighbourhoods, this isn’t the location for you. If you like to see real local life, not just touristy stuff, i definitely recommend Casco View!

hotel com recepção excelente. O tamanho do quarto é excelente, ideal para quem gosta de cozinhar nas viagens, cama grande e aconchegante. Fica bem localizado no Casco view, se atentar para quem quer ficar perto do aeroporto, o hotel nao seria uma boa escolha. Pois fica um pouco longe do aeroporto, porém na area turistica do Panamá

Beautiful apartments, great pool, amazing views, attentive staff, and reasonable price, just 3 blocks from Casco viejo. Whats not to like?! Marcelino was very helpful at the concierge desk, with good english, and very knowledgeable.

Loved this place. But you cant be afraid if the locals. This place will allow you to immerse yourself in Panama

Nice place, easy walk from Casco Viejo. The pool area was great, but room wasn’t the cleanest. We had to request bedding for the second bed but weren’t given a blanket.

Super spot. Très proche du casco viejo à pied. Belle piscine. Petite épicerie à côté. Wow !

The staff was absolutely phenomenal! So kind and accommodating even when certain events were out of their control they were still so wonderful!

We had an issue with the hot water and good that there’s a washer but no dryer. Also, the description of the apartments is great, but didn’t have information on where, what type of neighborhood it’s located. Also, pull out couch is not really a bed and lack more bed sheets and towels for the amount of people staying. Had two issues, AC and bedroom light in room broke but was repaired quickly.

Quite disappointing. The most obvious reason for the poor review is the immediate area the property is in. I read negative reviews about this but didn’t quite get the full scope of what the neighbouring properties were like until we actually stayed there. When a property is in such a rough area, at least if the service was exceptional, it would offset the experience somewhat. This was not the case. Our negative experience and poor customer service was present throughout our stay. When we checked in at 2pm (1 hour early due to our flight arrival time), we were told we had to wait 1/2 hr in the lobby or be charged a significant amount to access the room even though it was vacant and ready. Never in the many hotels we’ve stayed at have we ever been given that option. There was no hand soap in the bathroom - a very basic, standard item. Despite registering for 3 people to stay in the room, there were only 2 pool towels, and no actual blankets or bed pillows for the pull out. The a/c in the living room cut out at some point in the night and restarted late the next afternoon. We tried texting the numbers posted in the room but did not get a response. When I brought it to the attention of the concierge the next day, he told me if we if we “had an emergency, we could have come downstairs to tell him.” Again, the main negative is the area. It’s hard to overlook the deplorable conditions of the the surrounding properties and massive poverty when the rest of the experience is subpar.

I would definitely stay here again! The immediate surrounding neighborhood is a little run down, but it’s much better only a few blocks over. The property itself is still really nice and its really convenient walk to Casco Viejo.

Honest review of apartments clean well organized minimalist, but with ok essentials in the kitchens, paper towels., few cleaning supplies look under sink., everything neat in and order. Large sliding glass window, but the view is of interesting neighborhood) ocean (window in bedroom is to hallway) medium apt-hotel housekeeping fee for partial cleaning option, a fridge/freezer, good a/c., clean ourselves and it was ok. Small bathroom. Only negative the appliances can be challenging. 2nd apt had panoramic view kudos to developers. would help out if the advertised apt could be picked. Noise was acceptable from our 2 locations minimal and part of the charm of the neighborhood, didn’t affect our sleep. Ok Initial impression there was an odor when we first came in, first apt it didn’t go away but got worse. Spoke with building personnel a few times who check us in but nothing happened, (it was carnival timeframe), contacted Casco view and immediately got service, 2 remedies were offered a new room or maintenance we should have moved the sewage gas became unbearable,, they compensated us well and moved us to another apt we appreciated. Building very secured 24 hour security. Area is rough but Not offensive. Santa Ana park nearby nice area to hangout, Casco Viejo very close. Enjoyed 28 days. The staff All very cordial and welcoming., we should have been immediately taken the room. Next door, instead of the maintenance that didn’t work , 10/10 if not for the gas fumes

Beautiful place near Casco Viejo. Lovely pool!

Immeuble très sécurisé et hyper propre. Super bien placé et super équipé avec même des produits de base (liquide vaisselle, juile, lessive....) A 5mn à pied de Casco viejo, rues sécurisées par la police. Seuls les velos mis à disposition n'étaient pas utilisables car très mal entretenus. Chambre 608 à éviter car pas de vue. Piscine chaude mais eau trouble. Une personne est intervenue tout le séjour mais n'a pas réglé le problème. Très bon choix néanmoins pour visiter la vieille ville à pied. Accès en taxis très facile.

Personal amable, ubicación mala

The room was spotless and the decor was beautiful. The location was very convenient and the staff was friendly, in particular Marciello. The only downsides were that there was no hot water in the shower and the air conditioning vented onto the deck, making it really hot to sit on the deck.

Everything was perfect

I really enjoyed my time at Casco View good people, nice salt pool, great views.
