部屋はすごい広いわけではないけど、この価格にしては十分な広さだと思います。 全体的に古い感じはしますが、とても清潔に保たれてます。部屋には小さい机とイス、荷物を置く台があります。暖房は小型ながらパワフルで十分に部屋が暖まります。 何よりも感動したのがシャワーの温度と水圧です。熱くて気持ちのいいシャワーを浴びる事ができました。スペースも若干広めで、水はけも良かったです。ただシャワーを浴びた後の足用のマットというかタオルがなかったです。 WI-FIは最初は調子が悪かったけど、レセプションにその事を言ったらいきなり良くなりました。 スタッフも皆さん愛想が良く、とてもフレンドリーでした。レセプションには英語が話せるスタッフがいます。 朝食はパン、シリアル、フルーツ、スクランブルエッグなど一般的なものが用意されてました。 エレベーターがあるので大きな荷物を持ってる場合は便利だと思います。 立地はアルマス広場から５分ほど。レストランやツアー会社がある繁華街もその先にあります。 日中は問題ないけど、夜10時以降は周辺の治安が悪くなるそうです。

This is a property of two halves. Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Great location of hotel. Our room (3 single beds) was right by entrance to dining hall, the shower ‘window’ opened into staff hall and where public caught elevator to their rooms. The bathroom was covered in mould (ceiling, shower etc) the shower would was woeful, freezing cold one second and billing hot the second. The bedroom ‘window’ couldn’t be opened as backed onto staff quarters.

O hotel é bem localizado. O café da manhã é satisfatório. Precisa de um pouco de atualização, mas o chuveiro é quente . Um bom custo benefício.

Breakfast was excellent, quiet place close to everything

Rummen var så små. Ingen utsikt från de 2 fönster som fanns. Man stirrade in i en cementvägg. Servicen var bra, trevlig perdonal.

It was my first time to Puna, but I hit the jackpot when I booked the Hotel Balsa Inn. Close to the main plaza and the main thoroughfare with all kinds of shops and restaurants, the hotel is super convenient to all that Puna has to offer. My room was clean and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was particularly noteworthy (hot showers are sometimes hard to find in Peru!). Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful -- food recommendations, arranging tours, facilitating laundry services, etc. The breakfast buffet was a highlight -- lots of freshly-prepared options to start your day on a good note. If I ever return to Puno, I won't need to do a search for accommodations -- the Hotel Balsa Inn will be my first and only reliable choice.

Seem ok but no air conditioner and the water was shut down in the morning.

Hotel bien ubicado, con calentador, caja fuerte en el cuarto, heater un plus, desayuno basico poco personal en la cocina no habia nada de desayunar a las 6:30 no contaron la gente que se estaban quedando en el hotel, pero por lo demas todo bien.

Great place

Vi blev flyttade till Casona plaza på grund av någon renovering så ger betygen därefter. Bra hotell, låg bra till och hade trevlig personal. Dock extremt lyhört, vaknade på nätterna för att man hörde dörrar och om grannen duschade.

Muy atentos, desayuno muy bueno

As expected for the price and decent location for the central plaza and port. We had arranged an early check in for 7am, and arrived a bit earlier, but were able to access our room. Decent sized twin beds. Room was a bit dated and the only window was out into the main corridor so couldn't really have the curtain open. Generally seemed clean, but the floor was a bit grubby. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast, but they kindly arranged a breakfast for us to takeaway.

Great value for what you pay. Clean and decent breakfast. You cannot get more for the price.

Terrible experience with their brokered taxi service. We ordered private taxi service from JUL airport to Puno via the hotel. We waited at the arrival gate until we were the last passengers left and the driver never showed us. I called the hotel multiple times, they either couldn't understand my questions in English, or deliberately led me wait without giving any response. We finally decided to take the shared van and I left a message to the hotel on Expedia where I did the booking, and the hotel staff never checked my message (not read) even after our checkout. Our check-in was also not very smooth. They couldn't find the key to our room and after 5 min of futile search had to give us another one. Our room is really weird, there is no ventilation fan in bathroom so it had a small window/opening towards outside. Except in our room it that opening was to the corridor! That raised some privacy concerns. Buffet breakfast is fairly basic but for this price no complaints. Overall I just can’t recommend a hotel that can’t keep up its promises/services especially when it was mostly relied upon.

El hotel muy bien, como recién remodelado igual la habitación. Cómoda , espacio suficiente, calefacción y vista maravillosa a la montaña.

Read the review by a Japanese traveler, he was right, this hotel has powerful hot water shower. Only block away from the main square. Lots of restaurants and at least four ice cream shops!
