We thoroughly enjoyed our stay whilst in Palawan. The complimentary breakfast was a nice added extra, and a free shuttle to and from the nearby airport which is only 15 minutes away. The staff were so helpful, courteous, friendly and polite. We shall return here one day soon with our four grown up children here, it was that good. 😊 It’s a ten star ⭐ from us. Exemplary hospitality here at Alvea hotel.

The Alvea Hotel is a hidden gem. It is easily the best accommodation value I have had so far, after two weeks in the Philippines. It has a warm, engaging staff and pristine, comfortable rooms with amenities one usually finds in higher-end hotels. Even more of a pleasant surprise was the exceptional complimentary breakfast, which featured top-notch Filipino cuisine mixed with Western fare, including a made-to-order egg option. Mish and her colleague took care of breakfast like they were hosting a feast in their own home.

We didn't have high expectations since we only needed one night before our flight. The room was really hot, it took over 5 hours for the air conditioning to start to work. The pillow case had blood stain. The breakfast that was included

The staff was beyond amazing , from front desk to cleaning staff, to the breakfast area. My only issue was bad WiFi , it was hit or miss . Strong shower in bathroom, spacious room, and close to mall. They offer free shuttle to and from airport , and even took us to mall.

Staff are very helpful and well maintain inside and clean.Wifi and Air-condition works well.Outside the building is bit busy Noisy but won't hear it from inside.

Great overall - comfy bed ... Room key kept acting up and we had to go to reception a couple times for them to fix ... Also, bathroom had a bad smell, but other than that, it was great

The staff were very nice and helpful. So close to the airport (free shuttle) and Baywalk- very walkable or 20P per person on a trike. The deluxe room is VERY small but clean nd comfortable bed. There wasn't soap or shampoo in the dispensers- but we didn't ask as we had our own. Dental kits were provided. Breakfast was ample, plated and served. Beef steak, longonesa, eggs cooked to order,toast/coffee. Canned juice available for purchase. Kind of an odd street side presence- but we'd probably stay there again for a night (not a long term stay place) because of convenience, price and proximity to airport

Great place to stay in puerto. Baywalm is a few minutes walk from here, theres a cool church nearby and lots of restaurants a supermarket and a couple malls within walking distance. Staff was great and respectful, very safe area for late night walks and the room itself very clean and everything working fine, ac, hot shower, 5 stars out of 5 from me. Thank you alvea

Room was not very big, but spotless clean and confortable. Conveniently located near to the airport. Good value for the money.

The good - my plane was delayed 10 hours and there was a miscommunication but their van had been sent to pick me up even though I took a taxi. Rooms are clean and staff are generally friendly. The not good - if you tell people breakfast starts at 6:30am make sure it is ready. I arrived at 6:30am and it wasn’t and they offered me some rice and a couple sausages. The terrible - I asked them to arrange me a transfer from the hotel to El Nido. Price changed on the same day which I couldn’t be bothered arguing about as it was nominal. What isn’t ok is that they have an arrangement with a transport company that uses a filthy van with broken cup holder and vents and the air con doesn’t work. It only got worse from there. DO NOT book transport through the hotel as I think some of the staff might be on the take and think it’s acceptable to arrange sub standard transport for you.

The buffet each day for breakfast was nice and different daily.

Alvea property and its staff are the same— excellent.

Breakfast was limited to Philipino options and food was not kept warm. The room was clean but on the small side. A table or bench for suitcases would be useful. Overall, a good location, helpful staff and a pleasant stay.

Convenient location walking distance to baywalk and markets. Courteous and super nice staff. Breakfast was also good.
