The Ned, is literally one of those hotels that you wish you had a branch in every country you go to. Ambience immaculate, staff attentive, every minor detail from welcome to farewell is honed to perfection. Situated in a somewhat facade of brutalist architecture, you are surrounded by lush greenery. From the stunning half Olympic sized pool, to the well equipped gym, the many array of restaurants to choose from. The Ned is a supreme choice for any holiday need.

All staff couldn’t have been more helpful, from assisting with the birthday setup in the room to the spa staff who noticed it was my partner’s birthday and gave her a little treat; it meant a lot to us both that the small details were noticed and we couldn’t have been more grateful

Stellar stay. Friendly and attentive staff, numerous food outlets, and a perfect room (got an upgrade)!. And, not mentioning the gorgeous pool would be a crime.

High prices in F&B in the restaurants

The rooms were so spacious and the hotel was beautiful, and the staff were super attentive and amazing. I can’t wait to come back to stay again!!! It was only a 15 minute drive from the airport too which was super convenient. My only comment was there isn’t many casual/affordable in house dining options.

Great place

Very accommodating & great service

The website stated "free shuttle bus" and gave instructions to download (see screenshot of the downloaded PDF document). This was carried out and having waited at the Metro Station South Exit it soon became apparent that there is no shuttle bus service. So I trekked across the park over 20 minutes to the hotel. At entry, a staff member guided me to the car park! Okay, then I was bought back the same way I came and finally got to check-in. The room attention to detail is astounding. An old Qatari Ministry building has been revamped into a 70s paradise. The sea facing rooms can be noisy with traffic as they face a busy main road, however, the stunning views more than make for it. I called guest services for some milk (we Brits like milk with tea). A simple request, yet 30QAR per small jug for tea was quoted. I queried this and the tone/mannerism from the operator was rude and condescending. Totally unacceptable. The gym really is superb. The spa is acceptable. Not the best massage (very little oil was used - still charged me though!). I feel if the little issues like certain staff temperament/manners and the planning issues were dealt with properly (don't just say it, do it!), this hotel really could be a true 5* experience. Unfortunately, poor planning and being spoken to with such disregard brings stars down to 3.

Amazing place

Chic, classy hotel that delivered impeccable service. Huge rooms, gorgeous pool, and lovely live music bringing the hotel to life every night. We loved the location, being near the Souq and many of the main Doha attractions.

Housekeeping and Front Desk Staff are very understanding
