スタッフは明るく優しく接してくれました。古い建物なので汚れとかシャワーの水量が少し弱い事はありましたが、十分綺麗になっていて快適に過ごせました。 駐車スペースも十分あり簡単に停めることもできました。 田舎で食事どうしようかと思ってましたがレストランやバーもあり食べる事ができたので良かったです。

The staff were friendly and welcoming; however, this stay was far from perfect. The parking was an absolute nightmare, and the lack of lighting outside made it difficult to unpack in the dark. Self-parking was ineffective, as it allowed anyone to park anywhere, blocking through routes and making wheelchair access to the hotel nearly impossible. On arrival, the bedroom door was unlocked and left wide open for anyone to walk in. The bins were full of rubbish, having not been emptied, and the bathroom was not cleaned to the standard one would expect, with hair of various kinds visible on the floor and cobwebs at high level. This hotel has all the makings of a great experience. Leadership and responsibility need to be addressed to resolve the basic and fundamental issues that make all the difference to the guest experience.

Good location. Good size family room. Friendly and helpfull staff.

Staff was amazing. Hotel was clean and well maintained, but a little dated. Gardens and hotelare beautiful. Floors were very squeaky and water temp was very touchy in the shower. Room was warm, but we just opened the window during the day and closed it at night which made it just right. Overall we enjoyed this quirky, charming hotel.

Lovely hotel room a bit shabby,and bar shut at 10.00pm. Apart from that a ver comfortable stay.

My daughter and I stayed one night with our dog. Yes hotel is old like many similiar hotels in the UK but everything in the room worked and we slept well after a long day of walking High Street is 5 minutes walk and has nice shops and cafes.

Staff and cleanliness good, needs updating

Rakennus on kaunis sisältä ja päältä. Skotlannissa hotelliasiakkaat istuskelevat paljonkin alakerran loungeissa ja salongeissa ja niitä tämäkin hotelli tarjosi. Pysäköintipaikkoja oli liian vähän, mutta se oli kuitenkin ilmainen. Aamiainen on oikeinkin maukas buffet, josta saa paikallista maisteltavaa Haggiksineen ja verimakkaroineen.

The building is beautiful with great architecture, the rooms were quite spacious and very clean. Recently updated I believe. The lobby and bar, restaurant were lovely as well. Friendly staff too! My booking through Expedia did not go through and we were lucky they had availability and the manager was able to sort it all out.

The hottest room I have ever stayed in!

Internet was great! Easy parking. Reception staff was excellent

The staff, and especially Aaron at reception were very friendly and helpful. The lobby, bar and dining areas were pleasant and nicely set up. Our room was clean but a little tired-looking and required electrical maintenance, including repairing the fan in the bathroom.

It’s ok

Room only - 2 night stay. The room was quite small but clean and had a good ensuite shower room. Unfortunately the bed was rather firm for my liking and i found it quite difficult to get a good nights sleep on both nights. My partner suffers with arthritis in his hips but he does bring with him a supplementary mattress but still suffered with pain on sleeping. I would suggest that the mattresses in rooms are reviewed and possibly replaced.

The bed was terribly hard with wires poking in our backs. The pillows were not comfortable. The coach people in the hallways were extremely loud when we were trying to sleep. You could hear every word as there was no soundproofing at all. We could hear people talking loudly through the wall in the dining room in our bedroom late at night.The bartender was cranky and said he doesn’t make cocktails. You had to order whatever he had straight from the bottle. The breakfast offerings were decent.

Mattress worn out, no air conditioning, tv 18 inch, musky and smells like mildew.
