素晴らしかったです！お部屋の広さ、ホテルの雰囲気全てがエクセレント‼︎

The staff was ill prepared for serving guests to include being rude upon arrival. On check out the staff was trying to force us to pay again, luckily we travel with our receipts and were able to prove to the hotel that we had in fact paid through Expedia. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and would not recommend it to anyone.

古城に宿泊。 今回新婚旅行でスコットランドを訪れ、一生の思い出にと宿泊しました。 お城ゆえに交通の便のよいところではなく、郊外に立地しますが、レンタカーを借りて赴きました。ただ後からわかったことですが、エジンバラから近くまではバスでも行けるようです。 圧倒的に環境がよく、建物内を見学したり、敷地内には散策コースがあり、鷹匠やスパなどのアトラクションがあり退屈しません。スタッフも概ね親切です。 夕食は地下に設けられた「ダンジョンレストラン」でいただくのですが、席が空くまでは別室「図書室」のバーで待つのですが、場所が若干離れており、英語が拙いとよくわからず躊躇しました。ダンジョンの入り口が、一応秘密になっているので、サプライズのためとは思いますが、どうしたらよいのだろう？と躊躇しました。 料理は基本はフレンチで、スコットランドのエッセンスを散りばめた、なかなかに手の込んだお料理でした。 お部屋の設備は申し分ありません。歴史を感じさせる調度品の中には、やや立て付けが悪くなっているものもあるみたいですが、変に新しいものが違和感をもって設置されているよりは良いです。アメニティーも高級なものが揃っており、驚きました。 古城ホテルも、とんでもなく高価なものから、個人経営の小さな規模のもの（Ｂ＆Ｂみたいに）までいろいろありますが、ここはこうしたコンセプトのホテルチェーンのような経営で、豪華すぎず、そこそこリーズナブルな金額で体験できるのが魅力です。

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed at, the staff were polite and helpful with every request/question I had. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Scotland.

Le château est en travaux, les services comme le spa ne marchent pas, le personnel est adorable et la nourriture excellente, mais la chambre et les couloirs auraient vraiment pu être plus propre. Un peu décevant.

The whole experience was wonderful! My only draw was that with such a beautiful old property, that obviously wont have central air, they didnt provide a fan in the room. We kept the window open the entire time as it was unseasonably warm which resulted in some bug bites. A fan would've been lovely to combat the bugs and provide a bit of relief. The staff was lovely and the property quite opulent. I could sit in the window bench for hours hearing the birds. The dining was delicious. The falconry was an experience I would absolutely recommend! There are such beautiful wild flowers and wild raspberries on the trails as well as a lovely stream. This is a place to be tranquil and close to nature. Not a place for screen time. If you are doing a tour of Scotland this is a wonderful place to finish and relax.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful. Dining in all three restaurants was superb. We would definitely go back. The Falconry experience was amazing. Just be aware it is not run by the hotel but it is on or adjacent to the grounds. A two minute walk from the lobby.

Our stay at Dalhousie Castle was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Despite booking a suite months in advance, we were downgraded on arrival due to a maintenance issue and given little choice but to accept a basic room far below what we had paid for. The alternative offered was a modern lodge suite that resembled an add-on conservatory, hot, lacking privacy, and completely at odds with the castle experience we had booked. While a credit against dinner was offered at the time as compensation, I later established that this was substantially less than the actual difference in room rates. The room we ended up in was also missing basic amenities, including a mirror in the bedroom, meaning I had to use my iPad as a makeshift mirror to dry my hair. Service throughout the stay was disorganised and unprofessional: reception was often unmanned, staff could not locate room service menus, and we were asked to return with our own order written down. Breakfast was poorly managed, with long waits, insufficient staff, and even basic items such as plates, fruit juice, preserves, and peppermint tea unavailable. While there were a few bright spots, particularly the quality of the dinner and service in the restaurant, the overall experience fell far below expectations and did not reflect the standards or value advertised.

Beautiful castle with a wonderful staff that made us feel really welcome. Food quality is amazing.

Just a all around beautiful place inside and out so clean and well kept breakfast was outstanding lovely staff made us feel like family showed us all around and it was like a fairytale would love to come and visit again soon thanks so much

Wonderful place. If you've ever wanted to stay in a castle, this is it. Great property, wonderful staff, outstanding dungeon dinner experience and beautiful grounds to walk around. I would stay here again.

The property is beautiful! The rooms are newly renovated and staff were amazingly attentive. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Whiskey selection is top-shelf (ask to see the hidden whiskey vault). Only rated 5-stars because 6-stars wasn’t an option!

The castle was absolute perfection. The staff were so helpful, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere and decor were amazing. Our stay in suite 29 is one we won’t soon forget - from the original stone walls to the copper bath tub to the beautiful linens, everything was memorable. The bar and the library were very enjoyable and relaxing. The falconry on the grounds was just fantastic. We would highly recommend this experience.

Beautiful property, perfect setting. A highlight for us was dinner. Truly exceptional. We also did the Falconry experiece and loved that as well.

It was really a dream come true to stay at Dalhousie castle! Loved the history, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating!

Incroyable! Lodge impeccable, sublime, d'une propreté absolue. Accueil très professionnel, sympathique. Cadre magnifique. Le lodge est niché dans la forêt. On a mangé au Ramsay, le service était parfait, le personnel très sympathique, les plats supers bons. Je n'ai rien a redire sinon que Lady Catherine n'est pas venue hanter notre chambre. Je recommande a 100%

Grounds and castle were beautiful. Unfortunately spa facility’s were not open, nor were 2 of the 3 restaurants. Service was somewhat inconsistent, especially at the bar. We sat for 10 minutes before bartender acknowledged us, only after me asking if we could get a drink. Same experience in the restaurant - one night was great and next night we weren’t even offered wine and drink list. Very odd.

Forgotten Vows. Terrible communication. I booked the castle for my vow renewal 7 months in advance. And made reservations for the Dungeon. I spoke with the event planner and assumed everything was set. 3 weeks before the date recieved an email stating the suite was unavailable and they had changed us to another room no other details. And the restaurants were closed. When I emailed back asking for more details the planner called and said they had a wedding the day before and they got precedence. They had made a mistake and I shouldn't have been able to book in the first place. I get it money talks. The wedding brought in a bigger profit. They said they had a room they'd just finished that would be great for us. It Definitely wasn't finished. No mirror, to get ready in my wedding dress, I used my phone. No cold water, the regulator didn't work so you we scolded, no closet rods, no phone, 4 flights up and you'd have to go back and forth to reception( not that anyone was there to help you anyway) no clock, no fridge, no garbage can, it seemed it had just been finished but no one had finished the punch list to make it suitable for guests. We were an after thought. No one told us anything no one knew anything. We couldnt do archery or falconry but other guests could. We were told the new owner is trying to make this a 5 star hotel. My advice. Replace the MIA event planner and reception staff. Keep the chef, (great food) keep Kim and Shawn excellent customer service skills.
