エディンバラ駅から10分ほどの距離、場所がいい、快適なホテルだった。但し周りにバーが多くて、夜中に酔っばらうひとが多くて大きい声でさけんだり、喋ったりしてうるさかった。

Our room was not ready at the time we were told it would be but the host was nice enough and comped us some beverages. However. The ad is not clear that there was no lift. The room was on the fourth floor.

Hanover 71 is a nicely restored historical structure, furnishings are nice and all the usual toiletries are provided. The location is also good. We ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and the food was excellent both times. The literature in the room says you get a 20% discount but was actually given a 10% discount which was still appreciated. Be aware that there is no elevator so if you have any mobility or strength issues, getting to the mid and upper level rooms with luggage will be a challenge.

Prinzipiell eine tolle Unterkunft in sehr toller Lage. ABER: es ist laut, das Personal ist unfreundlich und auf E-Mails wurde nicht geantwortet. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich mir ein besseres Service!

If I had known about the stairs to the third floor I would have booked a different hotel! Elevator is really needed at this property

Very well situated in central Edinburgh.Comfortable and spacious room.

Clean, great location, renovated and styled room. Drawback was that hotel was renovating main floor and there was smell from the paint lingering up to the room.

This was the worst hotel. No warning that the entire downstairs is being reconstructed. Description included a restaurant, but there was none. Not even a vending machine. No one was there to check me in. The door was locked and a housekeepe- we didn’t have a common language- seemed confused by my arrival. My daughter found a note from the staff giving me Code for all the door locks. We then had to bring our luggage up 2 flights of spiral stairs in the heat. The carpet was filthy. The room had air conditioning that wasn’t working. I was told I could get my parking validated for. Reduced rate and the lady who opened the door gave me one that didn’t work for day one, and then I never saw staff again to get one for the second day or to ask why the validation for the first day did t work at the car park they told me to use. It was awful. Would not recommend.

Neat place. Note there are 79 steps to the top floor (rooms 8 & 9). No AC if you are there when it is warmer. Enjoyed the separate rooms as we had 3 guests. Quiet room and decently comfortable bed (firm mattress). Would stay again.

The downstairs of the property is under construction, so it was noisy and dusty. However, the property is close to everything. We were out daily, so the construction didn’t bother us that much.

Toilet was larger than expected. A fan would be nice for when weather is warmer.

Wonderful room, clean, tidy, excellent for city centre exploring

The hosts were fantastic! We arrived to a sparkling clean apartment stocked with fresh fruit, coffee and many choices for bath products. The locations is perfect for exploring and it's a very comfortable place to return to after a long day exploring!

We are starting to wonder if we were inadvertently squatting at an closed property. Lol. A painter let us in. There was no clerk present. The property was under construction. The bathtub leaked everywhere and the jets would randomly come on after being turned off for 45 mins. The floor was warped and unstable. The foyer lights in the room turned off and on by themselves during the night. It was decently clean but the bed was absolutely wretched - our backs hurt for 2 days. It was like sleeping on thinly padded cardboard.

There was no staff, the window covers did not cover the windows, hair dryer didn’t work. Very poor value for the money.

Éramos tres. El servicio hacía el cliente, muy bueno. Al ser tres, mi hija tuvo que dormir en un sofá cama con el colchón muy malo, no a la altura de el hotel, lo cual sugiero mejorar. La ubicación muy buena.

Luxurious suite in the heart of Edinburgh. Loved the high ceilings and grandeur of the room. Easy to find and in a quality area.

The room was great. The sofa bed is pretty uncomfortable, it has a big hump in the middle and the head sinks very low. Couldn’t sleep at all. Needs to be replaced.
