ロスリー ホール ホテル

グラスゴーのハイランドの入り口に立地して、ロッホめぐりに最適です。歴史のあるホテルですが、シャワー付き浴槽、トイレなど水回りはしっかりと整備されています。朝のイングリッシュブレックファーストはシェフがしっかりと調理されたものでとてもおいしかったです。ホテルのスタッフはプライドを持ち明るく対応してくれました。閑静な木立に囲まれたホテルですが、すぐ前には浜辺やヨットハーバーがあり散歩するのに適しています。駐車場も広く、周辺のロッホへのドライブも快適です。グラスゴー市内は車で1時間足らずです。買い物は隣のビレッジが歩いて30分ほど車で行っても容易に無料で駐車できます。大きなスーパーや個人の店もあり鉄道駅もあり観光地として整備してきています。また、泊まりたいホテルです。

Friendly staff and good room for people with mobility issues. The cooked breakfast was really good. I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning.

Bar poorly stocked (post Hogmanay). Staff far more interested in going home and chatting to each other than looking after customers. Room was clean and tidy, but very basic for the 21st century.

Reception staff John was very helpful polite and cheerful as was Jess the lady who dealt with meals and checkout

The room was clean and catered for the dogs bowls and beds. The staff in bar were very friendly. The guy at reception this morning has excellent customer service skills. Definitely be back.

The only isdue we had regarding oyr stay was that the bar area was very coldcwighout no heating. But the staff throughout our stay were excellent.

Good size room, a little drab and lacks wow. Bed ok but had a summer duvet in the winter. TV is tiny. Room service not so good. Bathroom tired. Food and breakfast very good. Hotel lacks something, its not warm and inviting as some hotels. Wouldnt go there again. 3 Star at best.

AVOID!!! Me and my partner stayed here for one night for our anniversary. We got an upgrade to a suite. When we got into the room it was freezing cold and that was with the radiator on. Asked for a different room and they gave us another suite. It was a bit warmer but there was numerous issues, badly stained carpets, stains on the sofa, badly scratched and marked furniture and the bathroom was awful, bath and shower covered in mould and corroded bath tub. The smell was awful. Bathroom window also didn't shut which made the bathroom freezing cold. The toilet also didnt flush. As we entered the corridor to go to our room we were hit by a strong damp smell and corridor walls were badly damaged, carpets looked like they needed a good hoover. I suffer from asthma and as soon as I entered the corridor and the room i started feeling very wheezy with the mould spores and dampness. We had originally booked the garden rooms for dinner and was told dinner was in the bar. They state on their website that itm's freshly made food, it definitely isn't. The guy serving got our order wrong the first time even though we were the only people in the bar. I got lamb shank (for £23) it was inedible. Looked like the lamb had been heated up in a microwave and was like Jelly. My partners wasn't any better, he got fish and chips and there was a tiny amount of flakey fish the rest was greasy batter. I have emailed a formal complaint to the hotel

The hotel in general was rather cold, although the room was spacious both the room and bathroom were very cold, even with the radiators on, there was dust everywhere; on the door, the curtains, the bed frame, mould on the tiles, only 1 bulb working in the bathroom… quite a bit of damage to the furniture too, bits hanging off the window. The room was very dated and it appears the part of the hotel we stayed in requires a major revamp. There was a big issue in the hallway (a massive water leak by the looks of it) - we had a gorgeous view though! The cooked breakfast was hit and miss - delicious hot porridge, the fry-up was piping hot and tasty, but my husband had asked for crispy bacon and scrambled eggs, the bacon was soft as anything and the scrambled eggs were stone cold… This was not a 4* experience for us unfortunately. The staff were super friendly and helpful though and we couldn’t fault their service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was warm and quiet for how full the hotel was. Staff were responsive to requests and the area was beautiful

Lovely setting, the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Good bar with a varied pub style menu. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Bar could have been better stocked - staff had to keep leaving to go & get supplies from elsewhere. Car park was fine - plenty of spaces. Staff were lovely. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly.

Great one night stay, friendly staff and big comfy bed. Really tasty breakfast and the dogs get their sausages too! Would stay here again

Staff are great. The church next door however rings its bells every 15 minutes non stop however. Ask for a quite room if you’re going

The staff were lively and kind and courteous I’d also like to add the room was lovely the bed extremely comfortable.

The hotel review rating is overrated in my opinion. The hallway to our room smelled aweful. The carpet in the room was stained a lot and seemed not been vacuumed. There were dark hair on the bedding and pillow. The restroom had many dark spots between the tiles especially at the shower. Everything seemed outdated. The parking infront of the entrance was good though. The breakfast was not good at all either. Food tasted bland and bacon was cold. Nothing fresh of vegetables or fruits.
