It's a nice hotel to stay in a trip with friends. We like the renovation, spa n breakfast.

Hotel schön ruhig im Wald gelegen. Frühstück gut und reichlich, selbst wenn man kurz vor dem Ende der Zeit kommt. Zum Zentrum in 8 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Am Abend läd Kosice mit seinen vielen Lokalen zum verweilen ein.

Good comfortable rooms (though without air conditioning). Great SPA. Ok breakfast though definitely room foe improvement there. Very kind personell. Good positioning if wanting to be further away from the noise

Sorprendente hotel a las afueras de la ciudad en una colina de bosque, un oasis de serenidad. Me hubiera gustado disfrutar del spa pero por motivos de trabajo no tuve tiempo. El servicio de restaurante fue muy amable sirviéndome algo de cenar justo en la hora que cerraban la cocina. Volveré

Good food and good spa! It is dated and there is no ventilation of any sort in the room. No A/C so you’re forced to open the windows and somebody in the middle of the night, parked across the parking lot and blasted their music and talked all night, but it echoed across the entire building so it sounded like he was literally outside our window and they stayed out there for two hours and nobody took care of it so be cautious that when you open your window, you’re gonna hear everything and you’re gonna have to open your window for any sort of ventilation so it doesn’t make any sense. The carpet is extremely ugly and probably 40 to 60 years old or at least it looks like it and much of the outside wood looks like it’s in good condition but when you actually touch it, it is extremely rotted and Termite infested and needs to all be replaced. They probably need to spend a couple hundred thousand dollars redoing the place. It’s in decent shape but it needs some work.

Very good

A great hotel when you want to get away from the city but want to be close to the city. Fantastic hiking out the front door. Public transportation into Kosice is very cheap, or a reliable taxi will cost about $10 one way. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are wonderful at Hotel Bankov. My only suggestion involves the restaurant. First, the price of the menu items is high compared to the price of the accommodation, although the dinner food is good. And breakfast is disappointing with little food and little selection. It is nice that the restaurant does not want to waste food by putting out too much on the breakfast buffet, but the amount they did put out was sad. Usually, there were two fried eggs and two hot dogs on the buffet at any one time, and some food items were out altogether and never replenished. So the downside to staying in this beautiful rustic hotel is there is not any other restaurant nearby to go for breakfast. All that being said, I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Well---it waś good, except no AC in my floor/my room, so there was nearly 32 degrees outside and sleeping was a bit tricky. also: buffet -dinner was a bit poor when I entered .not too much to pick from. positive: nice rooms, Youtube in TV, small spa with yakuzy and saunas. pretty girls in reception, free parking

Dejlig og hyggeligt hotel. Beliggenhed lidt uden for byen, men rigtig fint sted med godt wellness-område. Maden og servicen i restauranten var også rigtig god. Alt i alt en behagelig oplevelse.

Cold room in the morning. No fridge.

No mini bar

The room didn't have air conditioning or a mini bar as advertised. On the first day they refused to serve dinner because we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed. On the last night, the room was not cleaned. Unluckily, a glass fell into the bathroom sink, which was already cracked, breaking it. They forced us to pay for the damage. The level of the hotel doesn't correspond to 4 stars! Very disappointed.
