Large room, nice view, very good breakfast.

The Alex Lake is a high end property. My room was spacious, clean and modern and offered a great view of the lake. The hotel restaurant's truffle ravioli was awesome. The staff's courtesy was fair; I had a difficult time getting logistical information from them. In addition and, in contrast to what is on the internet, I was disappointed in the hotel's proximity to the city train and also the availability of its boat shuttle into the city or sister restaurants. I selected this hotel in part for these reasons but found both to be not as accessible as advertised. Due to the boat's odd schedule, I was not able to use that amenity at all. While I would stay there again on a future visit to Zurich, I would consider other options first.

While the location and service/staff was outstanding, they gave us terrible room below ground level.

Fantastic venue and staff. Food was incredible and all were very welcoming. Support with transport, entertainment and landmarks from Silvana, Michael, Benet and Sala. All a credit to Alex Lake and made the visit thoroughly worth it and enjoyable.

E hotel tiene una ubicación espectacular enfrente de lago, personal muy amable y atento. Desafortunadamente el precio de la habitación es demasiado caro para lo que te ofrecen , tome una habitación nivel del lago y no me gusto, cama super barata e incómodo colchón (se hundía todo y era duro) La habitación costo más de CHF 900 y sentí que fue un robo porque te quedas en el Dolder (de los mejores hoteles en Suiza) por CHF 200 francos más y la calidad es otro nivel y todas las amenidades que te incluyen en el cuarto no se compara. Recomiendo que le bajen el precio a las habitaciones de Alex Hotel si no están dispuesto a ofrecer alta calidad en la habitación.

Beautiful luxurious property right by the lake in a beautiful town. 9 mins from Zurich on train. Staff is excellent . Very children friendly with toys in room. Worth every Penny

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alex Lake Zürich, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service that made me feel right at home. The staff here are exceptional—friendly, professional, and always going above and beyond to ensure every guest has a wonderful stay. Whether it was the front desk team, the housekeeping staff, or the servers at the restaurant, everyone was attentive and genuinely cared about my comfort. Speaking of the restaurant, the food is absolutely divine. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients, beautifully plated dishes, and flavors that left me wanting more. The breakfast buffet in particular was a highlight, offering a great variety of options to suit every taste. The service at Alex Lake Zürich is second to none. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile, making my stay seamless and relaxing. The hotel itself is stunning—impeccably clean, with modern, stylish décor and a tranquil lakeside setting. My room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with breathtaking views of Lake Zürich. Overall, Alex Lake Zürich is the epitome of hospitality. Everything here is perfect—from the warm, welcoming staff to the delicious food, exceptional service, and pristine cleanliness. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!

It was great

An absolute gem of a hotel. The Alex delivers it all: An attentive an accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, excellent location just outaide of the city (but a 5-10 minute walk to the train station) great views overlooking the lake, i could go on. Will definitely be staying here again when i come back to Switzerland.

Amazing :-) loved the property, great restaurant, awesome boat to town and Widder Restaurant. Looking forward to our return soon!

Wonderful hotel, and exceptional food and service.

Loved everything about the room. The view, decor, spaciousness and cleanliness. The only flaw is that there was no option for Netflix

Nur bedingt gästefreundlich.? Früstückpreis über Expedia zwischen 17 und 20 Euro. Im Hotel 41 SFR. Das Essen ist aber sehr gut. Zustand der Bettkissen nicht gut, innen verfilzt.
