Better than expected

Renter beware I booked an oceanfront studio and it was on the 1st floor with the pool blocking any view spoke with Chris the manager who was of no help so make sure you specify that you want a 2nd or 3rd floor room before checking in.

They checked in about 50 people ahead of us. We didn’t get into the room until 4. We didn’t ask for a special room. Will never stay here again.

We loved our stay here! There were so many extra amenities that you don’t get anywhere else! I wish we would have been able to stay longer! Our family of four was comfortable and had many things to do on property.

This property overall is great but 2 real bad things. First off we got a room with bunk beds as we were with 3 teenagers but bunk beds were next to bathroom and no privacy in bathroom at all. Had a barn style door which stayed cracked open and my wife had to drive home to sleep. Second the beds are horrible and I would expect that for a hotel that we paid 600 a night that wouldn’t even be a thought. It’s very nice all around but room we were in was not a good fit and beds were bad.

If you pay for full service Hotel you should be able to use the pool the pool is closed by 7:00 p.m. in Florida where Sundown was 8:30 and you couldn't use the jacuzzi either by 7:00 p.m. this was very ridiculous when you're out on vacation usually pools close by 10:00 p.m. or midnight in South Florida I do not understand why this place has to close so early. Another thing I noticed I had a caramel my own luggage to my own room this is a full service Hotel they're supposed to have a bell hop what happened to it. The staff was very nice the people working are extremely very well nice people well mannered but the problem is the hotel is not managed or run correctly especially during summer time peak season . And last but not likely the top in my room is extremely a liability issue for the hotel very slippery the tub didn't even have a granules in the bottom that usually is supposed to be abrasive that way no one can slip the tub is horrible you I almost felt a couple times .

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to St. AUGUSTINE. If you never left the hotel and beach it would be a great vacation in itself. They offer a high quality free breakfast and have a social every evening where guests get 2 complimentary drinks a piece. We heard zero noise from other hotel rooms. We loved it there

Beach view and access were amazing. People outside partying all hours of the night was not.

Beautiful views of the state park - if you can get over looking out over the beach parking lot on the North side. Pool had floats and the drinks were good :)

Parking $40 plus tax! nightly which with tax $67 and change! Plus $100 a night hold on your CC for incidentals. I get using CC for incidentals, but $100 a night? This should all be upfront when booking! Rooms very uncomfortable, bed was hard as a rock, no dresser or any type of storage except very small closet to unpack for longer stay. Plus! The pool was amazing, just sad we didn’t stay to enjoy it! Checked out after 1 night.

Yet again another great stay at embassy suites. Always coming back here when I need a weekend away
