Most things were updated except the bathrooms were horrible.

Check in was smooth, but upon entering room, it was clear that the room had not been used in a while. I was greeted with stale air and the fridge was unplugged. I could not figure out how to work the heat/fan - none of the buttons worked. It obviously took several hours to get the fridge cold so it could keep my drinks/food cold, which was inconvenient. This made the premium I paid for a local hotel to not be worth it. The experience reminded me of the Seinfeld episode about the reservation. They took my reservation, but did nothing to prepare for my arrival. That thought, at least, made me smile.

Everything was good at this property except the bathroom - shower looked moldy.

I’ll start by saying the staff was pretty good. However, the room was really bare (no pictures, drapes, etc.). Made it feel unfinished. The sink was clogged with hair when we checked in. There was black hair stuck to the shower wall - which was gross! The shower was poorly planned & water went everywhere (no door, where the shower head was, etc.). The shower wall was also peeling. It looked terrible & made us feel gross taking a shower since we wanted out as soon as possible. There was something wrong with the toilet also. Either it would t flush, or if you were lucky to get it to flush, it kept flushing continuously for almost 5 minutes -we timed it. Clearly the maintenance & housekeeping were the biggest negatives. I would t stay there again. It wasn’t even remotely close to being worth the rates they charged. There are other places there-I’d recommend staying somewhere else. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. It’s a shame since the lobby, lobby bar, and the rest of the hotel looked nice. It was a shock to see how bad the room was after seeing the rest of the hotel.

Spacious and comfy, hassle-free check-in and check-out. The restaurant was closed after 10.00 AM

Upon initial appearances, beautiful. Was even more intriguing for us to have a restaurant on site. Only to find that the restaurant was operational for breakfast, not included and $15.00 each adult. Bar was open and has a very limited stocked snack store. We initially booked a standard King room and received a standard double queen, with horrible bathroom conditions. The tubs in both our room and our familys' rooms were peeling off pieces that had been attempted to be covered. The toilet hadnt been cleaned and our room was missing a closet door and contained 4 hangars. Their is no microwave, but a fridge with no freezer. There is not a guide or pamphlet for the tv, making finding a channel a bit 80s. Paying what we did to receive what we did was not worth it. Our view was the roof and brick and the beds are not something you would want to sleep on. Dont worry, you can ease your aches in the morning with a hot shower and great pressure while you wait for the the 1st gen Keurig to get ready.

The room was basically stark white with no warming colors or interesting pictures. That seems odd since we were staying in a very picturesque town of Lafayette IN. The lighting was poor. No light over the sink for shaving or prepping for the day. No light to read in bed. Bed was comfortable. Seemed a bit expensive for the stay. Loved that the location was very walkable to many fun things to do in Lafayette

Although the staff was friendly, we had issues with our room lock. We were not given an opportunity to switch rooms as the lock’s batteries needed to be changed. The next morning before checkout, house keeping knocked on our door and when I told them we would be leaving in 10-15 minutes, he kept coming back every couple of minutes and knocking on our door. I would have gotten out sooner if he didn’t keep interrupting us!

The hotel itself was fine, service was good and the room was mostly clean. But the bathroom was horrible. The tub was missing large pieces of the tub and it looked dirty or rusty. It was sunken in the middle of the tub and felt like I was going to fall through. It really was kind of gross and disappointing. The other issue is that the thermostat was locked and we couldn't change the temp in the room. It was too late when we checked in to try to deal with this by switching rooms or anything else. My other stays at Holiday Inns have been great.

Everything was good, but room service needs improvement and laundry washer macine was out of service.

Great location, good value. They could have had a Goldilocks option for the pillows and the bathroom lighting situation was a bit intense but for the price I was very happy.

Overall the hotel looked nice, but the bathroom in our room had dirt in the corners and the shower was dirty and in bad shape. The toilet in our room was leaking and when I told the guy at the front desk he didn't seem to care. But when we checked in the staff was very nice and helpful. They charged $15 per person for breakfast and honestly it was just like the free breakfast you get a most hotels. The location in downtown Lafayette was nice and it was close to everything.

Walking distance to greyhound bus stop.

The hotel is very outdated. The bathtub is peeling, room has very bad smell

Great hotel stayed there a few times but this time the bathtub was in terrible condition would not use it/the shower and bathroom sink was clogged

Old facilitilites and antiquated tub and A/c system, very unfriendly front desk staff. Room was clean otherwise but noisy a/c set at weird settings. Did not use tub/shower as surface was all uneven and patched up. Not worth the dollars I spent here.

The hotel is deffinitely older and it had a bit of a musty smell. Yes, it was convenient to the Indianapolois shuttle service, but I would recomment if you're visiting Purdue to choose one of the hotels that are actross the river less than a mile away.
