朝食が美味しい

ビジネスで滞在しました。サービスについては大きな期待はできませんが、ひどくもありません。付近には道路を挟んで向かい側にパブが一件あるのみです。食事を考えられている方は、車で町の中心部に移動する必要があり、ある程度下調べが必要です。

業務開催地から最も近く、推奨ホテルだったので予約しました。駅からやや遠く、歩くのは不可能なので、駅前からのブラックキャブが頼りとなります。部屋は位置によっては、駐車場前になるため、終日カーテンを閉めないと、部屋が丸見えとなります（本当に窓の前に車が止まる）。気にする方は、チェックイン時に指定すると良いと思います。併設のレストランは、朝食のブッフェスタイルは兎も角、昼食洋食は英国標準レベルでとても料金に見合った品物を出してきません。部屋は簡素ですが、清潔で、トイレシャワー等に不満はありませんでした。値段に見合うかというと、日本のレベルでは費用対効果で非常に悪い部類に入ります。チェックイン時にデポジットとして1.5万円、また証書としてパスポートの控えをとられるので、そのあたりは旅なれていない方は面食らうかもしれません。

Many parts of the hotel have been modernised and look and feel great. The breakfast was good and the pizza I had for dinner from the bar area was amazing! The staff were very kind, helpful and accomodating. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated and need to be improved. The outdoor sitting area could be improved and kept clean and tidy.

Complex booking in as new system causing problems. I had to be allocated three rooms before had room with air-conditioning. One room already had guests in which a big security problem as key card gave me access to the room. Hotel tired and a little shabby. Pool small and very busy. Gym very basic.

Hotel is dated and requires a complete refurbishment, breakfast wasn’t included and is not really worth the extra cost.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular were so helpful especially because they located my husband’s wallet he had misplaced. Locals often could be found in the bar/dining area. The only issue was related to having rooms that were dated. We had a disabled room and were concerned that there were no electric power points next to the bed. To recharge mobiles etc was difficult. We would return if we had the opportunity.

Feels like a motel.room on ground floor good side entrance easy access to car.a fridge was a god send in the heatwave,keeping things cool.great -air con another godsend. Pool and sauna good. Very good breakfast offerings .bed comfortable. My WiFi was iffy. Good value for money

The bathroom and the toilet in the corridor smelled urine

It was just as expected: the room was clean, the staff were friendly, there was an M&S petrol station right beside the hotel, the price was great, breakfast had plenty of options, from a cooked buffet to healthy continental, and the hotel had free parking.

Where to start. 1st room was strange as bed was made but old tissues on it, the towels were wet and hung over cupboard door, an old pair of mens pants were on the bathroom floor and the toilet very used and unflushed! 2nd room, walked in and someone had already checked in to this room with bags on the bed, but they were out (not very secure) 3rd room air conditioning broken (hottest days of the year) but put up with 2 fans as was so tired from travelling. Not a great stay.......

Room was dated, cold initially, heating controls broken, no electrical sockets near bed, bathroom door wouldn’t close, shower controls broken, peeling paint and wood on bathroom door. Broken glass in car park and police car patrols outside frequently suggesting crime hotspot. Appears to have fake 10/10 reviews with little description.

Lovely 3 night stay. Staff all very polite and helpful. Room was clean bathroom is rather small but was ok for a short break. Breakfast was great so many choices and not always the same every morning. Thank you :)

everything was fine just in need of an coat of paint etc

Liked the change of lay out for breakfast but did miss my muesli opption
