メニューは豊富でとても美味しい朝食でした。 係の方も親切で感じが良かったです。

6人で2部屋予約をしました。部屋は充分広いのですが、1部屋は3人利用するのに、椅子が一つしかなく、フロントに椅子を追加して欲しいとお願いしましたが、無いとの事で、ベットにしか座れず、2日間の滞在はとても使い辛く疲れました。それ以外はロケーションも最高で、スタッフも親切でした。

施設や建物は古いが、人がとても親切で過ごしやすかったです。 建物が古いのはイギリスならではなのかも？ 日本の方は、歯ブラシやスリッパ、ティッシュなどはないので、持って行った方がいいです。 季節によっては夜はとても寒いです。 (4月中旬はパーカーが必要なほどでした)

非常に素晴らしい滞在になりました。歴史のある建物でそのためにやや古く感じるかもですが、それを補って余りあるサービスでした。清掃もしっかり行き届いているので古さはあまり気になりません。スタッフも非常に親切です。

一度利用したことがあり、コーチステーションから近くて移動に便利だし、部屋も古いけど清潔で広かったのでまた利用しました。 恐らく調整の関係だと思いますが、二部屋あるとっも広い部屋で、1人でたったの1泊は勿体ないくらいでした。 ただ、バスタブがあったので楽しみにしていたのに何分経ってもお湯が全く出ず、深夜だったのでレセプションに言うのは控えて諦めました。当然シャワーも浴びられませんでした。

カーディフ中央駅からも、コーチステーションからも徒歩圏内。 カーディフ城の斜め向かい、ミレニアムスタジアムの横にあります。 古いホテルのようですが、設備は行き届いていて、お湯の出や排水なども問題なし。 バスタブもあったので、ゆっくり過ごせました。 カーディフマーケット、美術館、ユティリタ・アリーナなど、全て徒歩圏内です。 フロントのスタッフはフレンドリーで、事前の問い合わせにも丁寧に対応してくれました。 またカーディフに滞在する時は、ここを利用したいと思いました。

施設の問題点：お風呂の排水が詰まっていた、ポットにお水が少し残っていた、トイレの水が流れにくい ２泊しましたが、２日目にカードキーが使えなくなっていたので、交換して貰いましたが、スタッフの方の対応があまり良くなかったです。 それでもカーディフ城の前で駅からも近くにあり、場所は最高でした。

No air con, which in the week of a heatwave was terrible - especially when the bedroom window opens a tiny amount and the breakfast room windows can’t open at all! The headboard of the bed was flaking also. The whole hotel is a beautiful building and in a fantastic location but is in desperate need of some money investing in it towards refurbishment. Breakfast was tasty, just a shame about the oven you have to sit in to have it. At the moment not worth the money but it really could be with some investment

Beautiful hotel just needs a bit of tlc to bring it back to it's former glory. Absolutely will be staying again on our next trip.

Room was clean and tidy.There for 2 nights for Metallica gig across the road.Ideal for what we wanted.

Perfect location in the heart of Cardiff city centre but still at a location where you dont hear so much from the weekends party antics. Ideal for those couple of days away and access to events happening whether it's partying, music or sports events. An older building that still needs a little TLC in places but very spacious rooms and bathrooms (the ones I've stayed in were)! Enjoy the vibrancy of the welsh capital and it's surrounding areas.

Room 101 - The bathroom was not clean at all - needed a good bleach - clean around the bath , taps, sink. Came back to the room and there was a terrible smell - called the maintenance and it was the backflow from the bath !!!!! Was a bit better after being cleaned but was not up to a standard expected!! Would not stay again in that condition!! The Hotel is in a great location for shopping etc!! The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing ws too much trouble!!

Great location, clean room, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, fantastic bar. The wifi was very slow though.

Had a family room, and it was a great size fo we r the four of us. Comfy beds.

The Hotel is very old and dated, the decor is very shabby, I also think we were given the smallest room in the entire building, couldn’t even sit on the loo straight as the sink was in the way!

Lovely stay

Fleeting visit but still....tired rooms, shower coming off the wall, mould in bathroom, uncomfortably hot bedrooms and dirty fan. Only good thing was the staff on check in really. Tried to speak about issues on check out and was met with defense so gave up as we had to leave to get our train

Room was stinking, stains all over the carpet, bath was stinking full of black pieces so didn't even use the shower as I didn't want to stand in there, room was really outdated, hotel was really run down, reception area was nice but the hotel it self is really outdated and run down, bed was comfy but room felt really dirty, stinking around the window areas, breakfast was ok not much choice but it was ok, fruit flies come out of the grapes. I wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel very rundown. Definitely in need of some TLC inside and outside. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. No information about the hotel in the room. Went to get a bar snack at 8.10pm only to be told the kitchen closes at 8pm. Menu on the bar clearly states 24 hour service. On checking out the receptionist was clearly shocked about the kitchen closing at 8pm as she said I should be able to get 24 hour room service. Carpet on level 2 corridor absolutely filthy. Hotel perfect location as we went to a concert in the Castle and it is located opposite the Castle but I definitely wouldn’t rush back to the hotel unless it had a good clean and the bedrooms redecorated.
