6人で2部屋予約をしました。部屋は充分広いのですが、1部屋は3人利用するのに、椅子が一つしかなく、フロントに椅子を追加して欲しいとお願いしましたが、無いとの事で、ベットにしか座れず、2日間の滞在はとても使い辛く疲れました。それ以外はロケーションも最高で、スタッフも親切でした。

施設や建物は古いが、人がとても親切で過ごしやすかったです。 建物が古いのはイギリスならではなのかも？ 日本の方は、歯ブラシやスリッパ、ティッシュなどはないので、持って行った方がいいです。 季節によっては夜はとても寒いです。 (4月中旬はパーカーが必要なほどでした)

非常に素晴らしい滞在になりました。歴史のある建物でそのためにやや古く感じるかもですが、それを補って余りあるサービスでした。清掃もしっかり行き届いているので古さはあまり気になりません。スタッフも非常に親切です。

一度利用したことがあり、コーチステーションから近くて移動に便利だし、部屋も古いけど清潔で広かったのでまた利用しました。 恐らく調整の関係だと思いますが、二部屋あるとっも広い部屋で、1人でたったの1泊は勿体ないくらいでした。 ただ、バスタブがあったので楽しみにしていたのに何分経ってもお湯が全く出ず、深夜だったのでレセプションに言うのは控えて諦めました。当然シャワーも浴びられませんでした。

カーディフ中央駅からも、コーチステーションからも徒歩圏内。 カーディフ城の斜め向かい、ミレニアムスタジアムの横にあります。 古いホテルのようですが、設備は行き届いていて、お湯の出や排水なども問題なし。 バスタブもあったので、ゆっくり過ごせました。 カーディフマーケット、美術館、ユティリタ・アリーナなど、全て徒歩圏内です。 フロントのスタッフはフレンドリーで、事前の問い合わせにも丁寧に対応してくれました。 またカーディフに滞在する時は、ここを利用したいと思いました。

施設の問題点：お風呂の排水が詰まっていた、ポットにお水が少し残っていた、トイレの水が流れにくい ２泊しましたが、２日目にカードキーが使えなくなっていたので、交換して貰いましたが、スタッフの方の対応があまり良くなかったです。 それでもカーディフ城の前で駅からも近くにあり、場所は最高でした。

Lovely to stay in an independent hotel with some history and friendly staff. The property needs a little TLC but this was our second stay and would definitely stay again. Location to city centre is great.

The elevator needs to be fixed. We didn't like walking up three flights of stairs with luggage.. A lot of older clients mentioned the same issue.

No lift, receptionist unhelpful, no bar/dining facilities until 5 p.m. (not what their website/promotional literature says), shower has to run 10 minutes+ before the water gets hot and no central heating in the bedroom as "they don't turn it on until October". This was once a wonderful place to stay in Wales' capital city. It's now in dire need of investment including some decent management.

Het Angel Hotel is gelegen midden in het centrum van Wales. Tegenover Wales Castle en het prachtige Bute Park. Het hotel is op loopafstand van het uitgaanscentrum en ligt dichtbij Quern Street treinstation. Het personeel is vriendelijk en de keuken ronduit goed. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden!

Lovely hotel, opposite the castle. Had a lovely view of the castle. Only downside was the lift being out of order during our stay. A fair few stairs to be tackled, but otherwise I would stay again

A quick one night stay for me , but would recommend the hotel. Very central but still a quiet area near the castle . I’d stay again no problem.

In shockingly bad condition. No working elevators, and we were told that they would not be repaired during our stay. The "elevators out of order" signs had the appearance of having been in place for weeks. The bathroom had more mold than a health inspector would/should tolerate. Peeling paint everywhere. And not an apology or sign of apparent embarrassment from the staff.

The hotel appears very rundown, lifts were out of order so everyone was using the stairs (including some elderly visitors with mobility issues), decor is old and worn and the beds felt cheap and basic. I used to work in the hotel 30 years ago and it is disappointing to see it is such a shabby state!

Very dated building and rooms but staff are excellent

Needs a total refurb! Lifts not working, doors dirty, everywhere needs painting. On the plus side the bedroom was clean (apart from the nets).

Excellent location for the centre of Cardiff. Very clean room and bed was very comfortable. Sink a bit too big for the bathroom!
